The mighty and feared Ferox had it's overpowered agility reduced to mere mortal levels, will this mean the end of welp fleets consisting entirely of Ferox class battle-cruisers? Only time shall tell The mighty speed tanking Ferox has fallen! Live life as if there is no tomorrow, and look forward for tomorrow is a shining day without fear of the Ferox.

Sadly, it didn't become as popular as the Drake. ;) I remember really looking forward to it once it was announced though! The problem with the Rokh is Hybrids, which in theory will be a non-issue soon enough. Right now you can fit them with Arty and they're pretty nasty, not Maelstrom Alpha Fleet nasty, but almost and that's sad. I trained small through large Rail and Blaster specs before I knew any better. Here's hoping the Rokh will finally have a purpose! WIDot, Best Dot, Even Sans Dot! -Vric

And the Rokh is one thing that fuels that hope. ;)

It's not just the ferox. It's all the Caldari rail boats. As if any body ever complained that they had too much agility. It's kinda justified with the Gallente boats since they get a speed boost, but the Caldari boats don't get a boost in max velocity. 10% extra damage on the Rokh, for instance, will not make it overpowered. In fact, people will still prefer other ships. Same goes for the ferox. It's not like 10% extra damage means that the ferox is gonna make stuff asplode before they get in range as result of it's AWESOME agility. I don't know which muppet came up with this idea, but it's not very well thought out imo.

Makes a difference as well.

Yeah, I just loaded up a Rokh in eft, and with all magstabs in the lows + a full rack of 425's (which is currently impossible due to fitting constraints), and it gives a total dps of a whopping 608 with javelin. Add an axtra 10%, and we get a whopping 668! (all skills @ V) Now I'v done the same thing with a megathron and a hyperion for good measure (full rack of 425's + 5 magstabs) : Hyperion (the mods actually fit without fitting mods with current stats): 760 (current) 836 (new) Megathron (same as above): 665 (current) 731 (new) I somehow don't see the rokh's awsome agility making it better than the hyperion or the megathron. The range bonus is a waste, since in after 150km you can simply warp to your target. Of course, I haven't actually played around with other ammo types to get a comaprison for range, but somebody else did with current stats, and since both get the 10% bonus I don't see that changing in favour of the Rokh. The Rokh's only advantage is that it can shoot further than maximum range, which isn't an advantage until maximum locking range is increased, and minimum warp distance is inceased as well.
