Forget all that rubish to do with chosing the right config sttup to match your skills and ship...
What is your favorate gun? which gun has gotten you out of the tuffest scrapes. Did you start of on projectiles and move to rail guns (and vice versa) and gallente ships purely out of preferance?? and if so why?
Guy's, I want all your gun stories, small, large and especially the med and capital class guns.
My personal story started when I created my new mimitar alt for combat. Using projectile weapons was fine for a while but I always liked the cool sounding name (and the extremely cool range) of the rail guns.
Thus I switched ship class, and practical race so I could be proficent with them - sure I lost some training time but at the end of the day your playing a game.
Currently my favorate gun is the 150mm scout accelerator - or the 150mm tech II (although it's way too expensive most of the time). The larger rail's are great on the megathron although I usualy don't max out my high slots on them!

150mm prototype is my favorite. They're GOLD on a merlin. Plus they look/sound cool.
Ive always liked Autocannons though, just the sound and the look, generally when i fit projectile weapons to my ships they make them go boom :(

I love guns as well. Not as convenient as missiles but guns require skill and finesse. And...well they make a nice loud sound and feel good to shoot. My favorite guns are my trusty 250mm Compressed Coil Guns I use on my Ferox. I have 5 of em and all the nice bells and whistles to make them shoot straight. I especially like my new target painter. When I fire on a target I like to stagger the shots so that they ring out one at a time. boom! boom! boom! Boom! Boom! I love it

All guns that use less cap and do good damage. So that would be the autocannon. Blasters are horriable and people envy them for a damn damage mod. Lasers well ok, nos = dead. Same with blasters haha. To easy to exploit there weaknesses. Much harder to stock my 150mm autocannon... So there you go...

Well, I have to choose a three guns: 75mm gatling IIs, dual 150 IIs and dual 250s. Keeps all my drone ships using their turret ship bonus, and deal surprisingly good damage.

I started out on hybrids and scrapped that toon at 6.5mil SP Gallente to become the Minmatar I am today.

No gun beats the cool factor of an Ion Blaster Cannon II
