Not really sure if this is the place for it or if it is already beaten to death but please CCP remove that "*" from the emotes.
Before RMR the command /me smiles at Oveur was displayed like
Branco smiles at Oveur
After tha patch the command /me runs after Oveur with a bat displays like
Branco * runs after Oveur with a bat
Now, that extra "*" may not seem like much but it seems too silly for any of us that do more than our share of Roleplay and I probably don't understand much about Unicode but I'm almost sure it works with or without the star there.
Think we can remove that star out of there and go back to the old ways? Pretty please?

I really like the star and I hope it does not get changed. Please dont just consider the negatives when discussing something like this. There are tons of good reasons for the star. Dont just vote because everyone else is. Step back and guage the situation WITH YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT AND INTELLECT and really take time to assess the positives and negatives. Please do not remove the *.

I don't think anyone's asking them to fix it YESTERDAY, but we're letting it be known that we would like it fixed in the next patch, whenever that may be. I don't think anyone here is being too demanding, just voicing our opinions.
And yes, if there are positives to having the * in the middle, please tell us, because there seems to be no point in it.

True, just that when it was back there one could ignore it better I guess
And I didn't think of any good reasons to have it there where it is now, nor most of the people that I roleplay with (we're quite a few).

We're not asking for the star to be removed, but moved back to where it was orginally.
Before: * Kylania loves pie! <-- Obviously an emote
After: Kylania * loves pie! <-- Obviously a typo in the code
Plus you used to be able to do: /emote 's ship is on fire! and it would print out as * Kylania 's ship is on fire! but now it prints out as Kylania * 's ship is on fire! Not a nice change at all.
So that's why in my judgement and using my intellect I want it changed back to how it was. How about you?
