i am making around 100 jumps each day since last patch. after some time if i set destination i get displayed my current system as destination instead of the real destination.
then i try to set the destination again - i get the message that i can't set the same destination twice - wired ... it shows me my current location
removing and setting the destination again helps somethimes but not very often
only workaround is to jump into the next system from your jump path and then the autopilot works ... maybe ... somethimes it happens that in every system on your jump path, that your automatic given destination will be your current system
this cost me really a lot of my time

Yes, had same problems too. Though I don't know about really long trips (20+ jumps), I used to do a lot of agent missions and setting destinations always would screw up, especially going back to the agent (2-way trip).
Supposedly the patch notes say it was fixed, but it still happens. Usually if I rest in a station for a couple minutes before jumping again, autopilot works well.

Yeah I had this as well, but not lately. The fix is to open the map, as soon as you open it the autopilot will engage and you will continue on your plotted route. You may need to do this a few times until the server/client synch correctly.

I found a solution to this...works for me anyway.
When your autopilot messes up, bring up the full map from the toolbar on the left. It then properly gives you your destinations in order.

Bringing the map up works most of the time, (though it distorts the sound until next jumpgate for some reason).
Unfortunately I found that sometimes the map won't load, so the only answer is to manually fly to the next system wehere it corrects itself, or to relog.

This WAS fixed once, in patch 1129. The code change seems to have been lost or re-broken. I HAVE re-reported it fully a few chaos patches ago.
Not had chance to retest if it's now fixed again on chaos yet.

Well, hopefully it is fixed there, but like Tigersbane I haven't had it occur too much lately after the patch.
Just occasionally the starmap is stuck or autopilot turns off.
