Drunkeh	Posted - 2005.12.27 18:39:00 - [1] Should have enough isk to buy a new char later this week. Can't decide between Caldari and Gallante. This is only for pvp mind you, primarily in small gang fights, in which both a Domi and a Raven would wtfpwn. Scorp is good too for jamming, and if mega gets the blaster boost that tomb proposed, it will be insane in small gangs as well. Both have a great HAC, cerb and ishtar, but the deimos is definately much better than the eagle. Ishkur is the best AF. Taranis and Crow are arguably the top 2 inties. I can't decide

R3 1D	Posted - 2005.12.27 18:57:00 - [4] Caldari are easier to fly well but I'm guessing you'll be up for a challenge and so I'd say go Gallente. Both are good when your looking at high levels of SP's but Gallente take more skill to fly well Free bumpage for all!

I really, really wanna fly a domi because its like a pest in that it is amazingly versatile, and seeing how I love finding setups it seems fun. Whereas a raven is really just cookie cutter setups basically. And missiles are so ******* boring to use. On the other hand, the raven is currently a win button.
Sarmaul	Posted - 2005.12.27 19:09:00 - [6] Ok, lets take a look at this more seriously: Interceptors Ares: ** Raptor: Can actually be useful Taranis: pwn Crow: pwn Winner: Caldari Assault Ships Hawk: Bit crap, needs to be turned into a missile boat Harpy: Amazing sniper boat, and really comes into it's own with a small gistii booster Enyo: A good all-rounder Ishkur: pwn Winner: Gallente Stealth Bombers Manticore: pwn Gallente one: It's not a manticore Winner: Caldari Cruisers Vexor: One of the top 3 combat cruisers around, but needs good drone skills Thorax: Another one of the top 3 combat cruisers, and has enough pg and cpu to be evil. No longer an I-win button. Caracal: Although it's damage output has been increased, it still dies far to easily to a well setup rupture or rax. Moa: ahahahahah. Celestis: Until the stacking penalty is changed, anyone with 2 sensor boosters is immune to RSD. Blackbird: Very nice fleet support ship, but you will be called primary every single time. Winner: Gallente HAC Eagle: Dispite what people say, this ship is amazing when used correctly. Unfortunatly, using it correctly involves sniping like a tard from 80km. Cerberus: No longer to people laugh at the cerb - the boost to heavy missiles have made it a HAC to be feared Deimos: Desperatly needs more grid and a bigger drone bay. Still a very good combat ship though Ishtar: Run. Now. Winner: Gallente Battleships** Dominix: Needs no introduction Raven: Neither does this Megathron: Good if you have maxed fitting + cap skills. Scorp: Team-tanker or ECM - very handy if working in small groups, but again you will be called primary. Winner: Gallente Battlecruisers Brutix: Don't underestimate that bonus - with 2 reps on it has one hell of a tank. Ferox: Would be nice if it actually did some damage Winner: Gallente Recon Ships Caldari: Woot, another jamming ship Gallente: It can scramble at 30k (40+ with faction scramblers) Winner: Gallente Overall winner: Gallenteand btw, I don't fly gallente so I'm not biased :). ------------- Please make Minmatar overpowered, CCP

Try to say that with a lousy minmatar recon with webs and painters. The curse got drones and nos, but all around it's still gankable. Rook just can jam ALOT of stuff and manage to slip by.
