I've been noticing a drop in NPC demands on the market, has anybody seen this too? NPC buy orders seem to be fewer and smaller now. Is CCP pulling out the NPC market so a player based economy can take its place? Or are people just filling the NPC demand too easily?

I've noticed a huge drop in NPC demands.... haven't sold a sell order in about 5 days... I have tens of millions in minerals just sitting in station orders...
and I find your post extremely on-topic.
Thanks

Regarding NPC's and the market... I think it is CCP's ultimate goal to make the market completely player driven. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I also have noticed this, im atributing it to that the player market has really overtaken the NPC market.. 90% if not more trading done in the game is no longer done using the main market.
Personally I belive this to be a step in the wrong direction, NPC depend and supply should be raising to actually meet demand. For example I can name systems with buy orders for 100's of mil worth of trit and yet they are never filled by players, NPCs should fill these things from time to time. "Death Before Dishonor" |

Look at it that way - don't like the way a thread goes. Got into an argument you seem to loose? Just say "Mo*coough*ion" and you've got on problem less.

Its only going to work if the tech 2 items etc.. require trade goods in the manufacture. Otherwise its merely going to be a method of reducing the slice of pie for downtime traders.
