I've been doing level one junk missions for a couple days now.
Been away from EvE for a while, and have a couple cruisers and plenty of ammo - this level 1 stuff is for the birds.
The FAQ for missions has a part for searching People and Places for finding level two agents - and that doesn't seem to work.
I'd rather NOT fly manually to every single station in my quadrant to see if there are level two agents.
Is there a better way?
PS. I'm Caldari in Amarr space. Is it possible to find a Caldari agent? Caldari space is on the other side of the universe from where I happen to be (Aridia).

You can use the Map to find agents. Just set the Stars tab to Show My Agents.
If you know the corp you want to work for then you can search for it using People & Places. Right click it and select Show Info. Select the Agents tab (may show up as AGE) and it will show you all the agents for that corp. It even breaks them down by ones you can use and ones you can't. If there's one that you can't use you can look at the agent's info and it will show you what standing it will take to use that agent. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Still working on |

Will the F10 map show me level 2 agents if I can suddenly use them - even if my level 1 hasn't recommended me to anyone yet?

Also, you can check your standings to see which corporations like you the most. Then, check the info on those corps and look for available agents in the difference categories.

personally i always use the corp info as described by the above poster.
if you want kill missions you might want to try with the navy of your race, you'll have ok standings with them.

You're level 1 agent won't recommend a new agent for you. They are...greedy.
Yes. As soon as you have enough standing to do a level 2 agent for a corp (1.0 iirc) the map will update.
Honestly, it's better to figure out which corp and find an agent that way. The map can be a tad frustating. Something that appears close may be 20 jumps away. You can go to EVE NPC Corps to find one of your liking. The 4 races Navy corps seem to be the most popular. I doubt that Caldari has any Navy agents in Amarr space though.

Yeah.. 40+ jumps with 5 or 6 ships.. not looking forward to that decision.

I did the map and searched for agents. There was lots of choices. If you use your mouse and slightly go over the green dots you can read what agents there are and what they are.

Use the ingame information of the corp you wanna use.
Then click tab 'Agents' and browse the different divisions. You will see 'available to you' and 'not available to you'.
If you train the skill Connections to lvl 4 you won't need to do many lvl 1 missions in order to start kissing the arse of a lvl 2 agent ;)
