5 x Arb Assault launchers Med sensor booster T2 Photon scattering 10k Web 20k Scram Large shield extender T2 2 x Ballistic control
My Caldari skills arnt that great but I get 3850 Shield with this setup along with about 6.9 rof. No Ab or MWD, the frigs that fly in numbers will come for you. This setup can handle 3 elite frigs, still waiting for a pack of 4 to test it.
Anyone with a better setup or advice ?

Medium sensor booster
It seems like a good setup, nice tank n all. I still prefer the energy vampire Vexor / Arbitrator, they'll suck any frig dry in a second

Better setup?
if you can solo kill 3 elite frigs in it then dont share your setup >.< Most Elite frigates (certainly assault frigs) should be able to pwn a caracal, I certainly could last time a caracal shooting piranas attacked my ishkur.
All I can suggest is replacing the Photon scattering with a passive hardener for the tank you need, or fit a sensor booster.

Edited by: Spungwa on 29/12/2005 12:01:06 sorry m8 but those elite frigs you faught didnt know there mushrooms from thier spuds. there is no way you would survive 3 elite frigs if we met you, you would have survivability issues killing 1. (not saying you wouldnt kill 1, just against 3 you would last seconds, an oversized booster will eat you cap and then its nighty night) there is one module you can fit that will eat signature radius reliant ships, and make those missiles sting. and its not on this set up.
"Retarded Trophy Hunter With a Blackend Soul" Thank you for that...... |

That's an extender, not a shield booster.
I'd personally ditch the booster + hardener and get 2 multispec's.

3 elite frigs.. I sortof get the feeling the OP is talking about pve?
anyway.. to deal with shortrange friggies maybe setup with 5x T2 rocket launchers, dual webs, mwd, scram, bcu, 1600mm plate?

OP has to be talking about PvE not PvP...
I have been toying wiith a PvP setup for anti-frig work, looking something like this:
4xAssault, 1xEnergy Destabilizer 1xMed Sh. Ext. II, 1xMed Sh. Booster II, 1xCap Injector (400), 1xScrambler (20k), 1xWebber 1xBallistic Control Unit, 1xWarp Stab
I chose the energy destabilizer because it pulls the target's cap down at over 2x the rate of a nos. This unit makes the cap injector a must-have item IMO.
