Yes, I am an Alt (so no convoes please - if you want to arrange a buy-out send an eve-mail).
No, none of my characters are specialist in anything remotely to do with manufacturing, so sadly I cannot capitalise on this very nice BPO.
I have not attached hosted links to BPO info since these are easily forged - if you want to look at the requirements or stats check market info in-game.
The BPO will be put on escrow for the buyout price on 30/12/05 at approx 09:00 as proof of ownership, once it comes off research for ME=1.
Auction details :-
1. If there is a winning bid the BPO will be escrowed to the winning bidders character in Odatrik, Odatrik IX, Moon 2, Urban Management Storage (Heimatar safe space on the Derelik Border) - since I hate Rens 
2. Starting Bid = 10bil
3. Minimum bid increments = 1bil
4. Reserve = hidden (until met as per ebay)
5. Buyout = 35bil (this is the price it will be escrowed at in Odatrik on 30/12)
6. Auction ends (servers permitting) 22:00 eve time 1st January 2006 (to allow all you party animals time to recover)
7. Sniper rule = 10 minutes
Please no flames - its a waste of typing effort. The reserve is somewhere between the starting bid and the buyout  If/When the reserve is met I will edit the main topic.

PLEASE NOTE all previous readers and anyone who might be interested - I have brought this auction forward - it will finish tonight (30/12) at 22:00 Eve time. I have also lowered the starting bid, increment and buyout.
Ths BPO is on escrow for 24 hours in Odatrik at the buyout price for anyone who wants to check it. If it doesn't sell I guess I will have to get into manufacture 
This is the one and only daily bump.

I'll bid 6 bil isk + 1 of each type of carrier (4 X 1.4b each) when the patch is released to fix carrier build locations.

Why don't you state your reserve and then maybe somebody, after careful consideration, might buy it! Hiding it won't protect you against possible flames anyway.
I am certainly not bidding for this bpo without clearly stated reserve amount (so that you can't hide behind the argument of not meeting reserve if you don't like amount afterwards)

Ok well just for you the reserve is at least 8 bil and no more than 30 bil.

Dear All,
to answer the questions :-
1. As I said above this was an Alt account so no convoes .
2. The reserve wasn't met - why should it matter what it was ? If you didn't bid why should I tell you ?
3. For those polite enough to eve-mail in-game, i will / have responded .
4. It was an auction for a Sabre BPO
5. Farce : where ? There was a deadline, a minimum and a maximum stated clearly in the post ? If you think you could afford it why didn't you bid ?
Sheesh, the reserve is STILL somewhere between the 11.5bil highest bid (not enough) and the 30bil buyout - what is so difficult to understand ? If you have more than 11.5, and wanted the BPO, why didn't you bid ????

Johnny, let me explain a little bit of how honest people buy BPOs for you, as you seem to not understand it very well.
If I bid on your BPO, I can not bid on another one that is on auction, until someone else bids higher than me. This is only true for buyers that choose to honour their bids, and is normally clear by the fact that they do not use an alt.
You are asking people to comit their Isk to your BPO while they do not know if it is even worth the time, as you most likely are putting in a reserve and a ridiculous buyout so that you can back out at any time you like. They however can not if they would like to keep their name intact.

While not even being into production at all I see the need to know the reserve as many don't have 11+ billions lying around and need to sell items/bpo's to get the isk needed, and doing that without knowing even if it would be enough is something I bet MANY people wouldn't even begin to bother with..
I know I wouldn't :)

Hidden Reserves are bad, they are simply a get out cause.
you cannot referance wbay in this, Ebays reserves are pre-set before the auction starts and cannot be changed by the seller, its still sucky, but atleast you know the reserve is a set value - plus that it is proberley reasonble becuase the seller has to pay a percentage of the reserve if it isn't met.

Well thank-you all for your kindly advice.
As I said before, all those genuinely interested in the BP evemailed (NOT convoed see original post) and all received a reply including the value of the reserve. To all those who are simply posting to make themselves sound clever - good luck to you. I am sure the world is a better place because of your pointless whinges.
