A fellow corp member came accross a titan on their travels yesterday but unfortunately warped before a screenshot could be taken. Does this mean we can be seeing these appearing in the game over the next few months? or was it a dev taking it out for a test drive?

Or your corp mate is talking crap? ;) how could he not have made a screeny? he had to pres 1 button, but ofcours he was so bizy with warping he forgot? ;)

Actually I also seen the warptrail of a Titan some time ago...
... could have been the mushrooms tho.

I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to doubt my fellow corp member. But it would have been loads better to get a screeny to show it.

Titans are not in the game, I'd say bull****... Sure, a dev/something MAY fly a Titan on TQ, but I'd doubt it.
Maybe it was a battleship?

Well, titans seem like they're msotly anti-Battlecruiser and maybe anti-Cruiser, so they'll probably have crap for targeting speed and even worse short-range.

If you read the description of a titan, you'll not that they are so big that smaller vessels get caught in their gravity pull.
If a frigate (or even a cruiser) get close, he will get stuck in it's gravity (like when you get stuck on a station or asteroid), making it an easy target.

Titans are pretty weak up until that last few % of structure...
To be honest all they are at the moment is flying hanger decks!!

I can just picture flying through newb space and ending up with a bunch of newb frigates getting sucked in with a *BONK* against your hull, struggling to get off it.

Actually, it does, it's just not particularly accurate. Fly your cruiser within 2km of a really big asteroid and you will notice it.

I thought that was my ship somehow colliding with the object, like at low speeds you can but at high speeds you can't.
