Hmmm... how on earth did you got 3,5 gb of internal memmory?
Please provide more and above all CORRECT information.

It could be anything at the moment. But lets get a checklist to see what can be done.
- Check this list HERE
- Update your drivers (Videocard/Chipset/VIA/SIS)
- Make sure your Video card has its own IRQ number (check bios)
- Enable UltraDMA (is default on for windows XP)
And to shed some light at your 3,5gig claim... its nearly impossible or it would explain your preformance loss.
a 3.2 ghz intel cpu uses dual channel memmory, that way it will acces 2 of the same type of memmory modules at the same time.
So only numbers like 2x 256 = 512 or 2x 512 = 1024 or 2x 1024 = 2048 or 2x (2x 1024) = 4096 (4096 = the maximum amount of memmory that can be used on a singel x32bit memmory controller)
3,5 gig would mean 2x 1024 = 2 gig +(1x 1024 + 1x 512 = 1,5 gig running at half the speed)= 3548 = instable memmory? Atleast not something I want to try.

I.) do you have one or two (SLI) Cards in your system? if there are two try eve just for testing with one.
heared a lot about problems with "dual hardware" (dual cpu sys, dual core cpu, sli and all the other stuff)
II.) the most people with such a system turn FSAA und Aniso-Filter to the maximum. Try with turning it of, many older games have problems with all the new filterung-stuff
if i find more possibilities i'll write it down here ;)

Edited by: sHERU on 31/12/2005 08:19:57 Now you mention it, dual hardware usualy gives games older dan 1 year some trouble yes.
About the IRQ thing, every AGP en PCI slot has a irq number (IRQ = Interupt Request)
This usualy applys to AGP cards, that sometimes by default share there IRQ with a other PCI card. If that IRQ is shared with a network card or simulair the AGP card tends to be slower and making drops in FPS.
Plese refere to your bios manual how to assign a IRQ humber dedicated to your video card.

Well.. just another idea if you have an SLI system. desiable it oder try another rendering mode
or try with lesser ram. Just install 1 GB or something like that, maybe eve is to stupid for using such a real big ram (maybe you can give me one ore two ram sticks :) )
