Yes it can, in fact you can run 2 Eve applications at the sametime on XP. So if you have 2 accounts you can play both of them at the sametime! :)

cool....I have used full-screeen mode the whole time and the other day I tried to switch but the game wouldn't run right. Would someone please explain to me how to switch it properly so I can use window mode. I would like to be able to either play 2 accounts at once or just be able to surf the net if I'm mining or something. Thanks for all who reply :)))

Also in XP, when I hit the ESC key to see the menu, my PC reboots! Any workarounds for this?
I am tired of 1024 x 768 when my desktop is 1600 x 1200...

I have these same problems, and I'm pretty sure it's lack of memory. I only have 256Mb, and WinXP is a memory hog.

Nope, I have 512M, and it never goes under 110M left...

I do not know any direct workarounds, but timing when you switch screens is important. Preferably switch window/fullscreen mode in the character screen. This screen takes up less memory or cpu usage possibly, making it easier to switch.
Also, the standard comment, make sure all unessential programs are closed during switching.

I don't have any problems switching to windowed mode using Alt + Enter.
Trying to switch back to Fullscreen with Alt + Enter tends to CTD me.

That's very odd, as I have an 800mhz p3, 32mb GeF2, and 384 RAM, but I can alt-enter and go to Esc screen just fine.
Again, check Process Viewer for anything that might not be welcome or necessary. __________________________ I am Jacks' witty comment.
