After applying to the program, how long does it typically take to get a response? Is it more likely to hear nothing back? Thanks!

Applicants to ISD are vetted heavily, so the application process can take a while.
If it's been a week or two, applicants shouldn't be concerned.

I've applied for ISD before, never have I seen a reply so fast in my life...
I've also never seen the word "NO" written so big either...
I'm currently taking bets on the following:
- CCP Games becomes EA Games' property.
- EVE Online will have Microtranctions everywhere. |

I don't remember what I signed up for. I think bug hunters. It sounded really cool to volunteer in an official capacity to make the game better. That was a year ago and I spent a long time writing out answers to your survey but never got any response :(

Here is some tried and true advice from real life. If they wanted you, you'd have gotten a response to proceed to the next step. That you haven't means they either don't have a position available or they already have a person in mind for it. Either way, don't hold your breath.

Your advice does not apply here. Our applicants (CCL) get a response if they are to proceed to the next step or if the application has been declined.
Other ISD Teams might not do this.

I was ISD so long ago that my NDA expired years ago. I was AURORA.
I think it was something like:
1. Hang out on CCP's IRC channel.
2. See announcement that looking for ISD people.
3. Filled out app.
4. Returned to IRC and told ISD guy.
5. Instant interview.
6. Instantly inprocessed to be ISD.
Probably doesn't work that way anymore. :P
