make us stop logging in - do some maintenance or changes
i would rather go without for an hour or 2 than play this level of stability
lets not develop the someone else's problem field on this one CCP:
all my other online games work
all my corp from across the globe are CTD'ing every 5 mins
this game is unplayable - annoucne a 1 hr investigation and take servers and down and see what changed have happened (so we dont just sit here and keep trying all night)

Take the server down and fix the problem....
of course, it might be that they want us to continue beta testing....

Or it could be that taking down the servers would neither help or hinder their current attempts to fix it.
Some access is better than no access?

I've had 1 CTD tonight but that's 1 more than the previous 50 nights so I'm not risking NPC hunting when I know there's a problem.

i¦ve only had 9 CTD since release... and 3 of them were yesterday.. but i was told that it was b/c i was using sensor boosters...
Edit.. better make that 10 now..  |

Carefull saying that... I used to be in your shoes. Up until the last patch I got about 1 CTD per month. Since the last patch im lucky if I get only 1 per hour or 2.

Screw Beta testing. I'm done with that. This is insane. Please fix this problem..even if it takes a whole day. Don't let the game languish in a Purgatory like state.

Presumably they are working on whatver fix they can.
Great if the problem is actually at their end.
But is it?
The friends I've spoken to in the last 48 hours have almost all had CTDs. Not one plays Eve.
Some play in a game thats never had CTDs.
Most are complaining about lag being high during a quiet time of day.
So maybe the problem with CTDs (and connectivity loss to do that) is a bit more widespread than CCP can deal with.
Or of course they could be totally different reasons that have no connection apaprt from time.

quit the whine, they do whatever they can. Go to the pub, relax and drink a beer maybe even talk to your friends for a change.

What makes you think taking the servers down would fix it? The problem is with routers in London, shutting down the game cluster probably won't fix anything.

A new worm was identified on monday (18th), and it is causing a significant increase in network traffic over the entire internet. I personally believe it's to blame, not that it's infected the server or anything, but that it's clogging up some choke point on the way to the server.

Heh Well Ive had Exactly (1) CTD since Beta ended
Not Bragginf just trying to figure out why Im so Stable as far as CTD goes
