Man all these player killers sure make this game dissapointing. Ive just bought a megathron and have been hunting in the far reaches of fade only to find that my usual hunting system is regularly visited by player killers. Now i'm in a battleship and if their only in cruisers they wouldnt be a problem (with exceptions like blackbirds i suppose) its just that if i got overridden and my ship got destroyed my corp would suffer yet another huge set back and its not fair on them, so yet again i find myself retreating. CANT EVERYONE JUST BE NICE ? I so despartly wanna take em on as well :/
In conculsion i vote for a "be nice on eve day" anyone agree ? :D

Give me your Megathron and I'll make sure nothing bad happens to it 
Seriously though, if you feel you aren't up to taking a couple of known pk'ers on, offer them some isk to let you pass or just drain your cap to about 5% and then warp to the furthest object on your scanner - you'll stop in the middle of nowhere and you can happily logout until they go away.
However, that's the cowards way out.
Why don't you just go for them and go down fighting?
You might lose your ship but you'd win the respect of your corp. and, possibly, the pk'ers.
Most pk'ers are desperate for someone to come along and test them.

I know i know ! theyve shot meh CEO more than enough times but tbh it took us ages to save for this thing and i dont wanna go losing it having had it only a week.
When my corp can replace it with ease i'm flying to the nearest pk'er and having a go with eveyrhting i have but these things take time. Plus it will be a while before meh corp has the income to replace it :(

True - you won't catch me using an Apoc to fight with until I've got most of the requirements of another battleship ready.

Where was it you went?
And did you read the back of the box before buying this game?
sucks to loose a battleship, but.. so long as it wasnt lost to lag/CTD/bugs then its not that bad.. you soon pick yourself up.
Dont forget to buy a new clone!

... If those guys are just in cruisers like you said, why not get yourself a bunch of cruisers as well and duke it out? Much cheaper, no fear of getting overriden and whatever.... o.o

Well tbh i stopped getting angry at pker's the night i first found out about em. Maybe your right, maybe for most ppl it is a fun thing to do but for me ruining some poor newbies game is just a little nasty for me :/. I was thinking about jumping in in meh thorax and taken em on but again meh corps full on saving for bses atm and replacing cruisers are all just more set backs.

I was scanning cargo's in Yulai at random today just to see what people are carrying, one person was transporting 23 Miner II's, things like that make me want to start pirating =P

I think that is a serious underestimation, and it's going to cost you heavily in the future. A well equipped cruiser and a pilot with the right skills can be a considerable threat, even to a battleship.

By "Player Killer" do you actually mean "Player Killer" or are you reffering to someone that engages in PVP?
There's a difference there...might be subtle to some, but there is a difference.
