what do you need to tank the turrets in low sec systems. 0.4 and 0.3 systems?
how much damage do the turrets cause?
can they kill a BS or can any battleship with a minor tank do it?

Anything from a bc upwards can tank sentries long enough to kill.
BC - need 3 active hardeners, best 1600 plate you can get, med repper II cap modules to sustain repper as long as possible - small guns help. Can only tank for a minute ( less I think havn't done this for a while)
HAC - couple of hardeners helps here, plate, med repper II.
BS - easy to do really, LAR + MAR or XLbooster for shields. 3 Hardeners, Cap Modules. With this you should be able to tank sentries for a while. Add a t2 extender or plate and you should be able to tank very long. With good tanking and cap skills and good modules you can tank sentries indefinitely.
Remember, you can tank sentries in 0.5+ too, but you die eventually thanks to concord.
EDIT:
you can probably warp in and warp out with anyship, maybe kill a pod too as they take a while to lock, but dont expect to stay for a fight with a cruiser or less...

with a battleship or a very tanked hac (and I mean VERY tanked), you generally last about 2 minutes.

as far as i know you need ·ber skills to do it and wicked hot mods, i know someone who can tank turrets for about an hour before they ***** him, but if he gets a support ship with him hes good for days.
Ive seen HAC's tank them but not for very long.
And i know BC's can be used to insta pop frigs/ceptors and warp away before getting splatted
