I think EVE needs a few mini games for players to play while their travelling, gate camping or whenever they are bored. Games suck as poker or any other relevant game. What would be even greater would be the ability to place isk bets on games.

Not that I want this game to be anything like everquest.. but every game does at least one thing right. and for EQ this was it. Back when you had to sit down and look at your spell book to get any mana back you would be sitting there for half an hour looking at nothing but a full screen of a graphic of a book.. sucked. so they implemented a mini game that was a lot like tetris.
Simple, Easy, makes players happy and less interested in macro mining.

I like this. At the moment I read a book, or ALT-Tab out and do something else while listening for mining to stop or blaster fire to start.

makes having 2 screen a bliss compared to you other guys. 
I can spend time on irc or browse the net or even play tetris if i want to as i wait during jumps. \o/

Heh, that poker thing is quite cool, if it was only multiplayer, so you could play with other people.

Unfortunately that wouldn't be possible in the ingame browser. You can't even refresh the page after x secounds. Without client features like that, it just wouldn't be possible to make a multiplayer game.
