Using a reasonable T2 fit, the price range is between 850mil (Domi) to 1.25bil (Golem). DPS is awesome for all of them, but I'm nervous about relying on drone dps in the Domi (never flown a true drone ship like a Domi before). Tank is adequate and comparable between them all.
Of those 3 choices, which would you pick, and why? |

Is this multiple choice? Or just an essay? I like a Mach because it is fast and can change damage types. "Measure Twice, Cut Once." |

Ah yes, but for the sake of discussion - is this the best choice when you could instead choose dmg type and hit from 100km+ away (i.e. CNR/Golem)??? |

In a dominix, bouncer IIs, warden IIs and curator Iis all hit from 100km away, all do rat specific damage and will continue to do so after the next patch if you want them to. It requires one rig and 1 DLA to have 99km control range (for me, skills may vary), and it requires 1 sebo to lock that far away. Note wardens aren't _that_ bad against serps at very long range either, because serps are weakest to kin, and wardens don't miss much beyond 70.
For reasons unknown to us, amarr drones that are not curators are terrible, but curator IIs do not have the futzed up stats and are perfectly fine drones.
if you intend fighting at 100km, there is no reason for a dominix to cost much more than 200m fitted. Its only useful to spend more on it if you intend having 4 or 5 damage mods and fight at 30km to get more out of the gunnery.

a mjd sounds nice, sit 100km off the warp in, should give you a reasonable bit of time to gtfo (and/or maybe mjd again if they have a very long point)
a golem is really easy to probe, although any battleship hull probably isn't that hard.
personally I'd probably use a domi, and a mach. Domi should be cheap enough you don't mind losing it and Mach will just blitz some missions so fast you don't have to worry about gankers too much. Drones are pretty easy, just remember your hotkey to recall drones, personally I use shift + f, I think default is shift+r which I don't like because I'll mash ctrl+r out of habit. You can trust me, I have a monocole |

Domi because are going to lose some and the gains from the others won't make up the isk from the losses.
Also your kill boards won't look as ugly. |

No, regular Domi, more expensive, just like bigger is not always better. |

Domi for sure. This is a throw away ship so pick the cheapest. Use the domi and if you havent gotten wtfbbq'd by the time you can pay for the next ship up in price buy that. Eve is Real |

You need to spend some serious ISK on the tank though (to get the most DPS), making it not the best choice for low/null. Eve is Real |

Plus, the DPS isn't that amazing unless you're talking torps - then the severely limited range is a big turn off. |

The reason to pick Domi is that it does the sentry thing in a fully t2 fit just fine and the MJD allows you to escape most of pvp combined with your heavy neut and ecm / light drones.
The reason to pick mach/navyphoon would be the ability to blitz through most of the missions fast for that sweet LP.
Both are viable choices, the shiny ships do gather a ton of pvp aggro though. |
