I don't know if this is true, but if it is then keep in mind that IRON by itself is already a larger alliance then BOB, but they called in their G masters to protect them.

Would this infamous "can of whoop ass" be what managed to lag out not only our fleet, but practically all the north (people in EC-P8R where complaining of lag)? I mean I sat on a gate for 15 minutes with no control over my ship and no enemy targets.

first, IRON has a gang of 70 people against our 50, they call in G for help to fight their fight.
second, we warp in our gang half the size of the g/iron gang sitting at a safe - and guess what - the IRON gang warps off. the G gang stays and fight, the IRON gang then warps back slightly later (omgroflolol) |

I am most of all angry at the lag - it's essentially making the conquests of alliances un-achievable which is a major game breaker. But I'm also angry at BoB in a "So we have to box in a boxing ring that's knee-deep in pig excrement. Well ok... but don't rub the stuff in my face plz" kind of way.

We don't fall in any of those groups mate, we're just here, we'll fight whatever odds - any BoB pilot that complains about odds should leave, because they really do mean nothing - what I took umbrage to, in your post, is that you EXPECT us to fight outnumbered!? That's rubbish and you know it.
You asked why [5] are up here, our answer is in my first post - Your guys laugh at and ridicule us for not jumping in to your 100man lag camp. Your guys gloat and preen about how they "don't need to jump in". That says to us that we're gonna have to jump in, so we thought we'd bring up the numbers to allow us to do that.
So, now, we're here, put your money where your mouth is OR tell those idiots in your alliance that, until they WILL put their money where their mouth is, they should stfu.

Regardless of this alt dragging IRON's image through the mud,i still think that fights are about gaining the advantage and numbers is one alright. It's not IRON's job to provide a stable server,it's CCP's job.
As for the forum bragging,it was not an IRON member that posted that video and tbh there are other parties among the ones involved here that are much more guilty of various forum tactics. Wether you carry your words ingame and transform them into actions holds little relevance to most people. At least that's my viewpoint,feel free to disagree. I know a lot of people are fans of the "I back up my smack ingame" policy. For me,if i constantly attack and/or insult other people's playstyle, that doesn't mean i hold a moral high ground by killing them ingame after i smack them. Just my .2 isk
