Hey Noob here so please take it easy.
One) can you put a clear cache/etc button on startup screen?
Two) 2nd time my player has been stuck. We could help the DEVS help themselves with a little button that takes you back to the last safe position...
It could work in away, that the game/user saves a position everynow and then. If they die the last one is deleted to stop cheating. All we have to do is click the goto last position and no DEV time would be needed. Freeing up time to do more important things.
Anyway, less of my forum wasting tactics and I go see if Im free yet

Yes.....two very good ideas with two very good problems. You see if you have a button that clears the cache on the start-up screen, whats saying the issue you have wont allow you to get to the start-up screen (less likely i know but its there) and for the other (which i think is one VERY good idea to have but would be in the right respect VERY bad........i contradict myself there....because what happens if your in the middle of a blazing firefight, whats stopping you from logging out, logging back into the start-up screen and pressing the 'Im Stuck' button stopping you from being destroyed!!
Although the later idea would clear up 'some' time for the Devs to carry on with more important issues, like my 'Giant Secure Container' having no password on it.....152000Isk.....false advertising if you ask me /me consults lawyer lol

Although they could put a fifteen minute timer on the 'I'm stuck' button to prevent the quick escape trick or using it to get back to a friendly station when you've just flown out to the middle of no-where and can't be bothered to fly back yourself. Still, it would be nice if we just didn't get stuck in the first place!

My point being: With a little thought the Devs could quite easily free up a substantial amount of their time by help us, help ourselves. No I don't think cheating would come in to it. Not if the time delay is implemented correctly.
Imagine what they could do, if they didn't have to spend most of the day dealing with "trivial" petitions?!

I agree. However, the attitude I get from the devs is they don't want to admit there is a problem by giving us a way to fix it ourselves. In my opinion they just need to fix the stuck bug and no buttons would be needed. In the short term (as I don't think they even know why it's happening) buttons would be nice. ------------------------------------------------ "The best defense is a dead opponent." - Avaton White
