Regardless, of how many coolguy kills yall are getting. It still has taken 3 of the supposed "Most experienced" pvp corps, teamed up, to even put a slight dent in the Goonfleet war machine.
are you special ed or something? our kill:death ratio is something like 20:1
Check again. Even going by your borked calculation methods, it's nowhere close.

Whoa, bitter much?
The smack is off the charts, so I will leave that to the professionals. Three things, though:
ISK Loss - GF doubt the 3.2B price tag. I also don't know how it's calculated - ask the board writer - but 19 BS, 10 BC, 3 HACs, 4 barges and 17 elite frigs adds up.
CONIN kills vs. GF kills - The suggestion was that we post our kills that are both Killing Blows and Assists, whereas losses are only KBs. I think the confusion is that the kill board and loss board shows all kills, while the war board only shows kills and losses that are KBs by either party. If you're just scanning either Losses or Kills, you'll see GoonFleet kills that are KB'd by either CONIN or others, but losses you'd only see Goon KB'd losses unless you looked at the killmail. It's probably worth checking with the author of the board just to clear this up.
CONIN + 206/E-R/etc. - There's a complaint that we don't post losses from 206/E-R/etc. Well, they're not in our corp. We also don't include KHM, VLINK, BOS, OSS, and TFC kills in our war, all of whom we've seen ganged with Goonies.
Now, let's just get back to killing and dying, shall we? Those actually fighting or dying know who's doing more of each. ---------- Until we get our sig machine back, here is a short comedic break:

this was the thing i hated most about waring on goonfleet. All the useless smack that kept comming from them. We lost a few ships to them and it was a smart move on there part, but just the fact we could cause over 200+mill damage in 1 night, and then they would kill a prophecy and spam local about how uber they were. For the good of your corp name dont let every player u have, after 75 kessy kill a crusier spam local with
0MGZ L0l0l0l pwned!!!!!!!!! and people would respect u more.
well walk up to her with your pants down and if she runs away it was never meant to be. |

Well,i've been away from the game lately due to RL and i don't know what's happening. What i do know,is that most probably the kill:loss ratio and financial damage is a bit irrelevant. I know E-R are strict about their killboard's accuracy and i suspect that at least Contraband are as well. I also agree that E-R and company will be loosing more expensive ships,as i also doubt they are hurting much because of it.
However, all this is still not relevant. Why is that so? Well,i don't think any of the corps attacking goonfleet do it to drive them out of syndicate or anything remotely like that. Before NBSI formed an IGA and moved to tenal, the same corps were again roaming in syndicate along with Conin. That place is the vacation spot for people who want to shoot stuff with minimal long term repercussions. It's the place to kill,be killed and have a laugh, always has, always will be. If E-R/Conin/etc wanted to drive GF out, then a discussion of financial hurting would be appropriate.
I suggest both sides take a deep breath, relax and realise this is just a game we play, and there's nowhere more playful than syndicate
Trying to convince the enemy that they are in a world of pain only makes both parties look a bit like idiots, some for trying to brainwash the opposition and some for denying they are getting killed. Just my .2 isk, have fun and keep shooting.

206 have told our allies that they are attacking us to remove goonfleet from Syndicate and will leave the rest of OSS alone when we are gone. I guess they are still a little bitter from when we invaded y9g in November, set up a PoS and took all the crokite that they don't even mine. Then we went back about a month later after all of it had respawned and pulled out another big chunk of it.
I don't mind them fighting us, it's a game and Syndicate is a big playground. For a while Syndicate was like Empire light and it's definately changed for the better imo. It's also getting our latest batch of new players battle hardened rather fast.

Syndicate is the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people there. In Syndicate you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the Syndicate motto, for example, that's how laid back it is there. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends.

Is this suppose to be funny?, GoonFleet complaining about warp core stablizers, i chased an augoror the other day for 8 jumps because he had 5 stabs, and I don't know how many 7 stabbed battleships i have chased.
Also KIATolon is no one to talk about stabs.

Edited by: Crayathan on 05/01/2006 09:08:04 The killboard assigns an isk value to a ship
For tech 1 it is based on the base price for tech 2 it is based on what the average market rate was when i last updated (it doesn't back date the value) so if a price is updated it will only effect future kills.
Also with tech 2 its not so easy to say what a definate price is, so you might find at this time isk value on hacs is too low, and say stealth bombers is a bit high. TBH this seems like 6 of 1 and half dozen of another so the prices aren't updated everytime the market changes.
When the RMR data export appear I will ofc revise isk values as I always do, but bear in mind that those isk values will always effect kills AND losses, so the comparison on the board is right.
On the subject of kills where war targets assisted but did not make the final blow, I have already changed the way this happens on my test board, the isk value of the ship will get split over ALL the participants and then those totals added onto an active war, if that makes sense.

You're from the same goonfleet that flies t1 frigs with 3x stabs, right? :) And that's the same KIATolon that still managed to warp his battleship out when we had 3 points on him during the fleet battle the other day? :)
