Hi friends, been too long.
So I have a video here for you. I want to make a bit of a disclaimer because im insecure and
wouldn't ever want to disappoint you. Basically I just wish it was a bit better, its not quite as
awesome as I want. But! I thought there would be a lot of you that would rather I put something
together and post it than just delete all the fraps (which I considered). So here it is.
RESURRECTION
What will you see? The same old for me:
-No implants, boosters, gang links, faction mods, or even rigs in some cases
-Less popular ships (Ferox, Scorpion, Rokh, Harbinger...)
-Minimal editing, but high quality video
-Silly music
-Solo and small gang engagements that challenge me as a pilot and FC
I was away from the game for a bit, as you may have noticed, and I'm excited to say that what brought
me back to stay was the Seventh Day alliance. Every attempt to return I had made previous was either
on my own, or with a group of bitter vets. Being around new, enthusiastic, and sometimes clueless
pilots has been just what I needed.
As always, please leave feedback.

I'm really glad to see you making videos again. I did enjoy this video but i have to admit it didn't feel like a Kil2 video, i think mainly due to NO funky drawings in it.. 
I also feel what your saying about hanging around with people that actually want to play instead of the bitter vet crew!!
I hope you stay motivated and keep making more!!

Thanks for another great vid, hope you keep them coming.
As an ultra-noob in that alliance can say its awesome to have guys like Kil2 to learn from. Won't go into the boring details of how I'm struggling to get on with PVP but its so nice to have pro vets like Kil2 generous with their knowledge and keeping us enthusiastic about striving to be better.
BTW don't know how many of you know this but Kil2 recently co-hosted on a podcast.

That was great fun :D
There was one little thing I found annoying. During gang fights the lack of either a watchlist or the list of ships involved in the bottom left hand corner showing who was dead and who was alive meant it was hard to tell how your own gang was doing and how many were still alive during fights.
However, still a really enjoyable video and I'm glad to see you back making them :)

Overall, not really the movie some could have expected (me included, tbh), but it's really great to see you here again and having fun.

I loved watching it.
I am a noobish PvPer and watching your vids (and the vids of others on these forums) inspire me to take more risk and just have fun playing.
A question though: you have narrated one of your videos in the past would u consider doing that again? Because that was very interesting and educational.

I have to say, you were one of my biggest influences to get into PVP, specifically your ARMAGEDDON video -- which ship has never let me down. Hibernation No was also bloody fantastic.

I only hate this from one view point! I work today darn it and thus have to wait till tomorrow to watch it. Lol. I really look toward to it.
On a side note I have something I need to discuss with you as we both seem to be at the same juncture in our eve careers. I'm hoping you can help me out. Anyways I'll try to get a hold of you Sunday. Really looking toward to another video from a great pvp'er!

This community never ceases to amaze me. I'm really glad you guys like it. I'll get a commentary track put together for it sometime today or tomorrow and add that to the OP.
And I'll get to work on the next asap, hopefully it will be 100% kil2 potential =p. |

Loved the video! And enjoyed the commentary, which is very appreciated.
Without a doubt I most enjoy watching Ferox in action. Though tbh when I take out a Ferox or Cyclone to roam solo, I'm just always so worried about encountering ECM drones... Anyway there's nothing more fun than to watch a solo Ferox triumph!
Cheering for another video after the winter expansion! A Kil2-Wildcat duo taking on a blob of 150 perhaps?

To the poster above, if you want to check out frig pvp, I'd recommend RvB, though I am biased. PvP in frigs happens very fast, so it's a little overwhelming at the beginning - but hey, it's cheap! You will lose quite a few before you get a grasp of what is going on ><. Great video and commentary Kil2, I always look forward to and enjoy hearing your commentary, helps people learn what's going through your head when you pvp, why decision were made, and what we should be thinking about to be succesful. |
