The skills for titans require lvl5 spaceship command, lvl4 battleship and lvl5 leadership.
I read somewhere that it's lvl5 industrial, but according to the database it's leadership.
This is my signature. |

I would have thought it would be lvl 5 industrial as it's just a huge cargo hold (500k to be precise).
Handles like a dog too... Im just wondering what the mineral requirement will be... and the price of the bp (10 billion and your first born young most likely) -------------------------------------------

Don't go by the stats for the titan seen so far in game. Those are most likely placeholders, their sole purpose to have stats to wrap the model around so they can show 'em off.
There's currently only 2 titans statted in the DB, the Gallente and the Minmatar. Both have exactly the same stats right down to armor damage resistances. The stats they do have even look generic. And most tellingly, no required skills.
Considering the high priority put on in-space platforms, I suspect the Titans are deep in back-burner territory. Most likely we won't see them until after full player owned stations come out, since they'll likely take roughly similar amounts of minerals to build.

The original reports were that titans would be required to move the minerals and manufacturing platform to build stations, but maybe CCP will change that.

That's not sad. We need SOMETHING to look forward to. I didn't except a really serious post from you either, Stav. (OMG OMG )

Why would you want Titans? There's not enough to do with battleships ATM. I'd rather see some more high-end content before you add more high-end gear.

Titans wont be combat ships. They'll be able to make some kind of defensive effort, but they wont be as tough as battleships.
That means, your puckered if thats what you intend. Sorry folks, not what CCP has in mind for them. Eat My Shorts! |

Nope, Titan will be able to transport small ships to other systems via jumpdrives, and will also be able to mount production and refining mods onto them for onsite mineral and ship production.
Well, that was the idea anyways, guess we'll just have to find out and see what the final product is Vice-Admiral

They had the Minmitar and Gallente Titans on Choas a few months ago and from what i can remember i could fit either 12 cruisers or a battleship and a few cruisers. This was with 27% expanders in all the low slots.
Although i do remember reading somewhere that Titans can transport ships but not the pilots. So jumping into Jove space with 12 cruisers in your hold without any pilots might be pointless.
They'll probably change it but didnt really look like an offensive weapon with low shields and a tagetting range of 15km!

Titans will not dock. You will be able to dock in a titan, however.

Titans do dock - at least right now. I don't know how those (real) screenshots of a titan in the fitting screen (on chaos, of course) would have been taken otherwise.
