I've been working quite hard the last couple of days to gain acess to some lv3 agents, and have been reading numerous things on the forums about how the new lv3 missions are quite hrd, I've been starting to re-consider what I'm going to attempt them in. Up until now I've been flying my trusty rupture, but from the sounds of it that's not going to be enough for missions like technological marvels. I'd say most of my skills are based in cyclones, but would a wolf be better, if I spent a couple of weeks skilling up?

Depends on how fast you want to do the missions. A wolf is a bit under gunned especially on those missions that require destroying a structure before an armada warps in as back up.
I personally run L3's in a tempest, but that's because I'm cranking through standing increases as fast as I can atm.

I'm a relatively recent convert to AF's and only really been using them since working my way up through the ranks of a new (to me) bunch of agents. Doing Zoar and Sons combat missions as I am off and on I come up against Bloods and Sansha's most of the time so the base armour resists on the Wolf are ideal, prior to the Wolf I used an enyo and have yet to encounter a level 3 it couldn't handle. The only downside I see on the Wolf is ****ing about trying to fit 4 guns that will do decent damage along with the other kit you'd want on an AF.
Must admit I've never flown a cyclone though, so I suspect someone else would be able to give you a better comparison (or any sort of comparison come to think of it).

Wolves can't do all the lvl 3s. I do them in Cyc.
Rupture would get pwnt.

you mean with the threads that are set-ups for pre-cold war, never mind red moon rising with these new, harder, lv 3 missions?
