Due to the new changes Sov nullsec ice belts are a much different thing, Most of the well placed or pocket belts getting mined out quiet often. This is somthing i wondered why it wasnt implemented long ago.
Random Ice belt spawning off of Ihub upgrade or sov industrial level
There are 2 ways to do this. The first
Sov industrial level based ice belt
When said system in sov nullsec reaches Sov Industrial level 4 and the ore prospecting array 4 is plugged in a random racial Ice belt spawns in system. Give it the 4 hours timer and allow it to randomly cycle between all 4 racial ices and maby throw one in thats nothing but the non racial ice.
Ihub upgraded based
Add an extra slot under the industrial tab on the ihub for a Ice prospecting upgrade, have it require level 3 or 4 industry and then it spawns a random racial ice belt in system.
Keep in mind these ice belts are based off of the industrial level, meaning it falls below the required leve the ice belt goes away. |

Honestly I'm finding it hard to really be opposed to this given that high-sec isn't supposed to be providing all the ice anymore anyway.
My one concern is the potential for a crash in the price of Ice or POS fuel in general or for market manipulation by a determined null sec entity. Either one could potentially make upgrading a system like this not worth it.
Maybe restrict the number of such upgrades per constellation or make the ice-belt spawn on a long timer. |

So that your **** caged dead ends could provide even more isk per hour without risk? path-+find-+er (pthfndr, p+๑th-)n. 1. One that discovers a new course or way, especially through or into unexplored regions.

Shouldn't be too hard to get a Black-Ops hotdrop squad back there to ruin someones' day. Bridge in, wreck everything with Bombers, T3s, and Recons, bridge out as the reinforcements show up after screaming "hot-drop o'clock!!!" in local. Anything in Null is only low-risk if other players allow it to be low-risk.
Of-course, introducing risk into someone else's game isn't without risk itself but that's what makes Eve awesome. |
