That's nice, but does it still work? These screenshots are very old judging from the UI.

Those are from Matrox so if you have one of those cards then I suppose it should work since the card does the work

That image dates from around EVE's beta if my memory serves. There are a few people who run dual displays, although I've never managed to get mine working properly

I have an old Matrox Parhelia card which can support 3 monitors. Apart from the 3 monitor support is is a pretty crap grahic card

Having thought about it a bit, I think the need for multiple displays will reduce since LCD's are now getting cheaper and cheaper...I want a nice 36-40" LCD for my bedroom

Anyway, Dual display isn't a very viable option because the ship and the ships controls are splitted on the two monitors.

To really do multi-display, EVE should put different information on each screen. Like have the map window open on one and the regular view on the other. But that would take a lot of work on the devs end. ---- "Well in this case, he's being flamed, and rightly so, for whinning about a game mechanic that doesn't actually exist." -Lorth |

I was think the opposite, that multi-screening would increase due to the prices going down. Hell, I was planning on it... though, not for gaming... so I could remain uninterupted by my instant messaging while gaming... i'll go widescreen for the enhanced viewing. I could never get used to the big plastic gap in the middle of things. *************************************************

Have an old 21" monitor and a 22" CRT I use on a 9800XT. Problem is I can not find a way or setting for bridging both monitors. In fact if anything crosses the median ie a window touches both monitors, or if I put up another game on the other monitor, the FPS goes to 1-3.
I would kill to know a way I could run one EVE instance across both monitors or potentially have reason for another account I could run on the 2nd monitor.

Experience exists in EVE, it just isn't measured in numbers.

id love to be able to get a second screen and then have the map, menus and overview on the other screen leaving just the ship control hud on the main screen.
