If you want to use jump clones hassle free. Starter corps need you to only achieve a PERSONAL standing of 8 to be able to make use of the "project rebirth" technology.

on the flip side, if you don't join a player corp you will probably not be put in situations that you'll want to use jump clones..... such as group pvp, group pve, group anything..... so it's great if you are able to be selfsufficient. =========================== I am just another SOE SWG NGE Refugee. =========================== Is there a Lightsaber trade in Program? =========================== |

Then why not just leave your corp when you want to set a jump clone up, and then join it again afterwards?

How ironic is it that the OP is in a player corp?

The impression i got was that "carebear" starter-corp pilots were using j-clones to go lowsec and 0.0 in order to engage in pvp/pve without risking losing the implants in their primary bods. They set up a j-clone in empire as little as 1 jump from their primary bods, jump, then go have fun at little risk. ( i want to do this too) New players ; if you leave your starter corp you will be disadvantaged in comparison to those that don't, with regard to "project rebirth" technology

Joining a player corp seems to contradict the prime EVE directive of 'Trust no-one'

Why would a newbie need jump clones anyhow? This thread is so very wrong and it will only confuse newbies into thinking that Eve is about playing alone in a starter corp and get bored with crappy low end missions. Then they quit the game and tell 10 of their friends that Eve sucks.

Actually, it's trust no-one unless you can trust them.
How you work that one out is up to you.

Ok question then? Where is the Caldari starter corp? It's been a long time since I've played and I'm having issues with my Caldari Standing!

On the top left of your screen click "People and Places" and then click the "Agents" tab. In there are all the agents you've ever used or have access through referals.
