I will be using one of these 2 ships to help a friend to do lvl 4 missions in his raven. He has taken the time to train his skills to get the most lp possible and we just want to work together to maximize the lp to potentially get a good offer. I am wondering which would be better for killing off most of the smaller ships the quickest? I do fly the zealot already and have quite a bit of experience with it but I have never flown the cerebus and would love to have people who know both ships well to give me their opinions on what they think would be the best combo. The Raven and Zealot or the Raven and Cerebus. Thanks

Smaller ships - frigs and cruisers. I would go with the zealot, but that is just me. Cerb can tank and will work even better with the T2 ammo. U can try out the Eagle if u have Caldari Cruiser V, see how it works, maby u will fell for that baby.

If your main task is to take out interceptors then a Zealot with dual webs is unstoppable. I'm currently doing Lvl 4's in my Zealot and once the interceptors are dead it turns into a walk in the park most times. Cerb is a very good Lvl 4 ship too but Zealot can deal some amazing damage, tank like a hero and is damn fast.

I have tried all 8 hacs in level 4's and I have to say the cerb closely followed by the vagabond and zealot. Personaly i go for the cerb because, it can be tanked well, fitted with a painter and damage mods and so deal good damage to all ship sizes without tracking or range worries.

I dont have any experience with the Zealot, but the Cerberus is amazing as a lvl 4 mission runner especially when paired with any battleship. With 100km+ unboosted targetting range & 150km heavy missile range, you can choose target clusters very easily and draw aggro towards you. The BS takes care of other BS's and I take down everything else. I dont bother using webbers or painters, and take everything down pretty quick with heavies. I use the Cerb on lvl 4 missions solo and it does them fine, while I provide tanking whenever my CEO in his Raven needs help with his lvl 4's.

Originally by: Hanns Missiles rule the mission running world Werd, Cerb is the best support ship due to pwning: small ships, medium ships, big ships and can do full dmg to 100km easy. Also can take a fair beating before having to warp.
