Regarding the other games on that list - has anyone ever played Sturmovik? If not, I recommend it highly - by far the best fighter sim ever made. Dog fighting in that game is just unbelievable. -------------------------------------------- Dead

Not really... it's all an Ilyushin.

Very good Milos!
I might have to buy Sturmovik again now...should never have traded it in the first place. -------------------------------------------- Dead

I'll bump for Sturmovik too. Forgotten Battels *really* jazzed up an already incredible game. Pity the demo is from an early version of the original game. Flying on- or off-line is a hoot.
Just as pretty as EVE too.

Forgotten Battles, as Drunkenmaster rightly says, is the best flightsim to date. I always knew there were some IL2 players knocking around here somewhere
Just wait till Ubi release Lo-Mac...... its gonna be real hard splitting time between that, IL2FB and Eve.

It's very good, but it has flaws like any game. If you're able to withstand not shooting everything in sight then I'd highly recommend FS2004. In general if you like making things and a huge pile of add-ons the MS sims are better.

I'll say this for Sturmovik - it made me build a completely new PC just so I could play it.
It's THAT good.

One of the best gaming experiences of my life was a mass dog fight between 20 migs and about 40 of the luftwaffes finest...I was sweating and shaking by the end of it, engine casing flapping merrily in the breeze, oil all over the*****pit window...simply stunning. -------------------------------------------- Dead

I upgraded to play Sturmovik as well.
Possibly the best game I have ever played.
