I want to say this right off the bat. What I'm wanting to do is not multiboxing. What I want to do is have 3 clients running at the same time, for example, one in Jita watching the market and being able to adjust orders, one in Dodixie doing the same, and the last one either mining or managing the corps finances. I would love to do this, and have read that it's very simple, and have even tried the junction method from the wiki, but nothing I try allows me to have more than one client up at any given time. Every time I try to start another client, whether its from the same launcher or a new instanced one, as soon as the second client reaches the authentication phase of startup, I get disconnected from the game on the first client, and the second one starts just fine. If anyone can help me fix this issue, or tell me of some new rule by CCP that prohibits Multiple Clients, I would greatly appreciate the help. |

You need separate non trial accounts to do this.

Why? with 2 accounts and six characters, passive isk will easily buy a plex for one of your accounts. Just hope you don't have a wife who's always hogging the second account. |

Well that is true, but I'll need to first get my main account's character situated with PI stuff, then once I have a good system going, I'll use the plex I get from it to get that second account, but until then, it's just very inconvenient having to switch to different characters just to see the different markets in eve. Plus I won't be able to keep the constant I want to keep on them.
Ow and about that last part, I won't have to worry about that at all since my girl isn't into Sci-fi. She's more into fantasy stuff like DDO and ESO when it comes out. |

If all you're doing is surveying the market in other trade hubs for the purpose of profitable hauling or something, you can easily use third-party tools like Eve-Central to check prices. If you're actually trying to station trade, however, then yeah, having to switch between characters can get very annoying very quickly.
