There are a lot of excelent classic games out there which are extremely fun to play but have outdated graphics. So, which games would you like to see re-launched with better graphics?
Mine: Sim City 2000 (the best version by far) Wing Commander: Privateer (or single player Eve if you want) M.A.X. (one of the best strategy games I've played) UFO-Enemy Unknown (who didn't love this game?)

In line with the Space Quests then I wouldn't mind seeing the old Kings and Police Quests too, along with the classic Liesure Suit Larry games. Although for the text based ones an increased vocabulary would go down nicly along with new graphics. Dunno how many hours I've spent trying to figure out the correct word to open a "box" or whatever

Never played Dune, but Dune II was ace. Love to see that in 3d graphics.

there was a dune 1? i thought dune 2 was the only one, maybe as a sequel to the books
Tho I never played Dune 1 I know it was vastly unlike Dune 2. D1 was more of a RPG or adventure game. Pretty good from what I have been told.

Doom I and II! Not the crappy new doom 3, but the original game, with great gameplay, but better graphics.
ah, that's pure nostalgia. Ever go back and play Doom? Really linear, not as scary or as immersive as it was the first time round - and because we've been spoiled since, probably never will again. Though if you're looking for a modern update of Doom that isn't Doom, maybe Serious Sam is what you're after? ;)
What I miss about Doom I is the feeling of the size of the place. Remember those huge open spaces? Doom III was the exact oposite, all about claustraphobia, and the same can be said of sooo many modern FPS's

Transport Tycoon was the best business sim I've played. Twas a pain having to manually renew the tracks when monorails and magleves were invented tho. If they ever do a retake on that I'd realy like an option to automatically renew the lines. Nostalgia 4tw!
