Welcome to the "ITEMS" thingy from your left side pane! The referee today is Merriam Webster. In the right blue corner, Hanger.. And in the left red corner, Hangar.. Okay cheer a bit now.
FIGHT!
Main Entry: hang+er Pronunciation: 'ha[ng]-&r Function: noun 1 : one that hangs or causes to be hung or hanged 2 : something that hangs , overhangs, or is suspended: as a : a decorative strip of cloth b : a small sword formerly used by seamen c chiefly British : a small wood on steeply sloping land 3 : a device by which or to which something is hung or hangs : as a : a strap on a sword belt by which a sword or dagger can be suspended b : a loop by which a garment is hung up c : a device that fits inside or around a garment for hanging from a hook or rod
Oof pretty solid punch, I wonder wether Hangar can handle that!
Main Entry: 1han+gar Pronunciation: 'ha[ng]-&r, 'ha[ng]-g&r Function: noun Etymology: French : SHELTER, SHED; especially : a covered and usually enclosed area for housing and repairing aircraft
Oouch! That was swift. The Hanger is on the ground.. That was very hard strike.. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.. 6.. 7.. 8.. 9.. ... and ladies and gentlemen, we have a knockout in the first round. Hanger got completely wasted it seems.
Okay now could all the kids start talking about HANGAR instead on HANGER. It is called HANGAR, always has and always will. Thank you for your attention.

No
But I think the main point should be quite clear if you stop the hair splitting
Edit: Umm wait.. The whole thread is a bit hair splitting. But yes, it bugs me nevertheless to see HANGER used because I instantly think of the things the word HANGER refers to. And it's kinda silly for instance putting my stuff into the corporation's HANGER

When I read "hanger" I think of DIY [Do-It-Yourself] abortions.
Does that make me an evil person? -------------------------------------[04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk

What if I hang people on hangers in my hangar?
