hi everyone,
im thinking about buying and training for a dreadnought. I was wondering which one is best?
If anyone has any thoughts i would be grateful

afraid not when it comes to dreadnoughts, never flown one before. Maybe some dread pilots could help

as far as i know the moros is the only dreadnaught which posses the ability to kill small targets by its own due to its insane drone bonus...another point is the 5% dmg bonus it has for capital hybrid guns. imo its the best since it can kill cruisers frigs and everything else...all other dreads are more specialized in killing large targets like pos or maybe battleships.

Depending on your current skills i suppose best choice would be to go for the one you have the most racial ship skills for. Very expensive to train for though, heard the skillbooks go for ridiculous amounts.

well normal people dont have racial battleship and large weapon 5 in more than 1 or maybe 2 races so choosing is often not an option. u take the one u have racial bs 5 in if you wanna fly it in the next 2 month 
they are all pretty balanced atm i think. the phoenix is imho the best pos breaker and moros still deadly vs. anything with his drones. 2x tobias webber and revelation also make a nice combo for the unsupecting cruiser (well actually this webber makes every dread deadly within its webbing range)

Moros is the only 'generally' useful Dread, due to the tracking issues Dread guns have.
Naglfar is the 'best' Dread, since Dreads are only really useful for looking cool, and it looks the coolest :P

i have amarr BS 5 and caldari BS 5. so for me its really a choice between those 2. Which one would u guys pick?

All of them have things going for them, really. It depends on your needs.
This isn't 100% based in experience (I've really only seen the Moros and Revelation at work), but more on assumption and extrapolation. If I am glaringly wrong somewhere, please, somebody enlighten me. That aside...the Moros is good for killing things that aren't other capital ships; the Revelation is best for when you need to pound on a POS for hours upon hours on end; the Phoenix has huge range capability and the best ability to soak up massive amounts of damage (while its cap lasts); dunno about the Naglfar but I imagine it's able to dish out pretty versatile damage at a variety of ranges due to the nature of its weapons and bonuses. Seems like it might have heightened siege endurance issues due to the rof bonuses it has and the curse of split weaponry, though.
In the Naglfar's favour, it does look like a run-down version of the Pride of Hiigara. Fleet Command shall lead us to victory!
So on and so forth; pick according to your needs. Honestly, if you aren't planning on working over a bunch of POSes or capital ships anytime soon, you're probably best off with the Moros. Even if it is a lot less intimidating than it used to be due to the drone changes. :/

I'd say moros because their sentry turrets probably do utterly insane damage, and god help the frig that ****es one off it their range.
