Hoping someone can help me here. Here's my list of stuff:
2400+ Athlon AMD
Gforce Ti 4200
Audio Blaster 2
Cable connection
768 RAM
I can't stay online. I might be able to say Hi to my Corp mates before CTD. I have d/l all newest divers. I've even wiped my whole C drive and reinstalled windows and set up connection and reinstalled EVE, it still happens. I keep getting "connection to server was lost". I don't think it's on CCP's end, I think it's my computer, but i have no idea what it is. I've ran every check and everything is running fine. This is driving me nuts. Trying to save for a BS and I haven't been able to play for the past 3 days. Weekend was fine, then all of a sudden on Monday, crash all over the place. Someone please help. I've done everything listed in these forums!!

this happens to me too. sent an email to the ppl that come up with the answers. they'll reply soon i hope, when i find out i'll try and remember to post answer here... I have ADSL and after maybe 5 mins on eve i ctd and get a message saying connection to server was lost, damn sure it ain't my fault, it used to happen to me on command and conquer generals too for about a week... v.annoying.

mine is doing the same thing i hate it. i hope they fix this problem soon or else people will just get to frustrated to play the game

I seem to be having similar problems as well, except I have no message telling me why. I also sometimes have my computer restart instead of just CTD. I recently replaced my motherboard and reformatted my harddrive. Originally, after the installation, I was having problems. I was able to fix the problem by installing the newer drivers. That solved the problem for only one day. Now it's back to the same problem....

Maxtor 30Gig 5400rpm ATA100 harddrive
640Megs of RAM
GeForce 2 MX400 video card
SoundBlaser Live! sound card
Running WinXP w/Service Pack 1 with all the recent updates

sounds like your internet connection or a router between you and CCP.
download a traceroute program, it may help you pinpoint the weak spot. send the information to your isp, a few are proactive and will contact the owner of the problem router. you're most likely **** out of luck, though, until whomever owns the router realizes there is a problem.
the game itself causes few CTD. with exception to the currently troublesome module(s) and sound issues. i guess you could try disabling audio in your prefs.ini
