Alright, I'm Interested, Where Can I Learn More?
Although having a technological edge can result in great fame and fortune for a Corporation, it is the firm belief of the HDY Administration that a great Corporation is nothing without great employees. Employees of the Hadean Drive Yards are mature players who understand what it takes to achieve goals within a medium scale, team oriented production based organization. This means that they take the initiative and achieve desired results without being spoon-fed. Prospective members are driven and innovative in the execution of their assigned duties, even if some might consider them menial, every job has a purpose and contributes to the "big picture".

What Is Hadean Drive Yards??
Hadean Drive Yards (HDY) is one of the oldest Corporations within the EVE universe. For over three years HDY has reigned as the oldest specialized production Corporation within the game of EVE. It is a disputed fact that Hadean Drive Yards may even be the original specialized ship production Corporation within the world of EVE. Some of you veterans remember the name HDY and for those of you who may have heard of us but aren't sure exactly what we do then read on.
History of the Corporation
Hadean Drive Yards is a name that strikes a familiar cord with hundreds of pilots amongst the stars and systems of EVE. Over the course of HDY's corporate lifespan (three years) we have produced ships for just about every major alliance and Corporation at one point in time or another. Our members have been described as innovative, focused and driven, displaying the kind of qualities that make up a formidable team.
The name Hadean Drive Yards commands respect and admiration, not just for our personnel but also for our longevity and our ideals and ethics. Love us or hate us, you have to admit we been around the block a time or two. HDY was founded upon the principles of Discipline, Brotherhood, Loyalty, Duty and Honor. These ideals are what has kept this Corporation around, through all the good times and the bad, for over three years it has also helped form a community of players who, regardless of their current Corporate tags, know each other on a friendship level that few gaming communities understand.
Why join Hadean Drive Yards?
HDY's reputation wasn't built overnight, it took several months, even years, of constant analyzing and evolution to get where we are today. Many times the herd was thinned due to attrition, lack of interest in the EVE universe and sometimes even lack of the aforementioned principles. Regardless, we are in constant review of our processes and policies to ensure that we offer the best communication to our clients and to our business associates.
Our members enjoy a sense of purpose and teamwork that many larger scale Corporations simply cannot offer. In return for their loyalty they get the financial support of the Corporation and the friendship (sometimes lifelong) of the members within.
What does all this mean to you as a prospective member?
It is this constant drive for success which allows HDY to continually expand and be one of the pioneers at the forefront of specialized Corporate service. Several imitations have attempted to duplicate the style of play HDY prides itself upon however although we are often imitated, we are rarely (if ever), duplicated. To borrow a phrase from a popular sports car manufacturer, Hadean Drive Yards, "accept no substitute".
This means that our members, and administration, will take the time to get to know you, train with you and work with you in order to achieve the corporate goals.

Several of you have written us in game asking if we are looking for combat pilots or those who have focued their skill training in combat related areas.
Yes we are, however combat related personnel start the same place everyone else does and earn their way into the Military Division.
Also, HDY isn't a combat focused Corporation, being that we produce ships and equipment we're more into the research and development. Combat focused personnel are detailed with agent running and NPC pirate hunting missions more than PvP.
In regards to PvP itself, this occurs during times of war or to defend Corporate assets.

Once that's done, please join us in our in game public channel, SHOP@HDY, and look for either Overkill or myself. We can answer all your questions there, but to answer your immediate question - A battleship pilot can assist us via Mining ops, agent running, and NPC rat hunting. What Entheos means is that we have a place for every, or the majority, of different play styles in EVE. We don't really go out of our way in regards to pirating but the rest of the stuff is good to go.

One of the things that has always fascinated me about this Corporation has been it's inability to accept the words "Impossible" and "Unattainable" into their collective vocabularies...these words simply do not exist to the members of Hadean Drive Yards, because we have known since Beta that by working together, we CAN acheive what others deem impossible.
We are a brotherhood, forged in the crucible of adversity...Hardship is our whetstone, honing us to a razor's edge, empowering us with the knowledge that we can adapt, improvise, and overcome any adversity. Certainly, the events of the last several months have proven that.
