same here. Logging in .... Authenticating and after a few minutes: Connection to Server lost.
I have this problem on three of four computers with the three different accounts. Only on one computer all work fine, with all others accounts, too.
I have this problem since RMR from time to time. But since DT today, I'm unable to log in.
I have cleared the cache, and installed eve new.
Any ideas?

I'm getting into the game, but the problem is that all I see is a black screen. It's very frustrating, as I'm getting a serious eve craving right now. >.<

After a few tests, I found out, that I had trouble with the MTU size of the TCP/IP-packets.
I changed it to 1300 (dec.) and now all works fine

I am having the same problem and am about to cancel my one week old account. Where is the ability to change the MTU size on my computer? Could you be more specific?
Thanks!

Method 3: Set the MTU size for the network interface manually If you set the MTU size for a network interface manually, this setting overrides the default MTU for the network interface. The MTU size is the maximum packet size in bytes that the transport will transmit over the underlying network.
This method affects packets sent to all destinations and may significantly affect the performance, depending on the MTU size that you set.
To set the MTU size for the network interface, follow these steps:1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 2. Locate the following key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\<ID for network interface> 3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value. 4. Type MTU, and then press ENTER. 5. On the Edit menu, click Modify. 6. In the Value data box, type the value of the MTU size, and then click OK. 7. Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

OK, 2 things:
1. Stashman, what is my <ID for network interface>? I have 5 folders in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces, How do I tell which one it is?
2. I actually had a dream (or nightmare) about logging into eve, seriously... It was scary as ****.
