Well looking at HAC + recon cruiser prices right now, I'm thinking anywhere between 3 and 500m for the first few months, and finally settling at 2 - 300m. Damn tech II developers are too greedy. They'd get many more sales if they lowered their price to say, 10m above development. That's 50m for a HAC, people can afford that, not 200 for a damn cruiser

They already insta-sell them. How are they ganna get more sales by lowering their price?? Doing that would be simply lowering the profit they make on their insta-selling cruisers. ******************** Join Public Channel "Christian Public Access" for great fellowship and fun |

How would that work exactly? That's about 40-60m profit a week, for a HAC BPO. Bit rubbish! and NO, I dont have a T2 BPO!

I got an Astarte for 300mill and am hopefully going to get an EOS for about the same amount....a lot depends on the amount in the market and the demand. As regards HACs, you can already get them for around 75mill from N.A.G.A but you'll have to wait for 100+ days. ----------- STFU Macromoaners |

The problem is the build time is very low, and now more and more people are getting skills to fly these ships so demand has gone up. Ammount available is a set number based on build time. The only way to lower the cost of these ships is to increase supply (CCP reducing build time) or decrease demand (CCP release new nifty ships that make people want HAC's etc less).
Just reduce the freaking build time CCP...common.

lofty29,
I DO have a HAC BPO. My factory is almost constantly busy building from it. Each ship takes about 36 hours to build, and I have to run all over hell's half acre to get the materials. If the profit were 10 mill a ship, I would let the print just sit in my hanger, as I could make a lot more isk just ratting or whatever, which is a lot more fun than hauling materials through 0.0 (where I base and build).
No, I won't sell it.
And no, it's not just a damn cruiser. Far from it. It's an elite warcraft, and those who get one generally don't want to fly anything else (over half my buyers are repeats).
I'm not greedy. But I don't intend to throw my time away, like the builders in the ruined T1 major ship market do.
The golden EVE rule still applies: If you can't afford to lose it, don't fly it.
