Due to recent success in both making pretty killmails and hilarious threadnoughts of tears from carebears in despair, we in the beloved Confederation of xXPIZZAXx are pleased to open its doors of our gank fleets to the public.
This means that everyone, regardless of race, height or even skill is welcome to join us in our endeavor to rid EVE from freighters.
What's the catch in this? You might ask. Well, nothing. The more willing bodies we have in fleet the more freighters and juicier targets we can gank on a daily basis. Our operations will mainly concern 0.5 sec systems with high loads of traffic (Niarja, Uedama, etc.).
Dress code (aka. ship requirements)
Current ship of the month is the catalyst. We will be seeding these on market for those too lazy to bring themselves at cheap prices ranging from 5-10 m per fully fit gank catalyst. Besides that we will require bumping characters, neutral haulers, scouts/scanners, etc. Fits and more can be found in our public gank channel: Pizza Gank
Besides this we use teamspeak 3 for comms which you can join us on and we'll be allowing people to register up on our jabber for pings when we do gank fleets.
Fittings & more info can be found in Gank Pizza ingame channel.
tl,dr - Gank fleets, join if you want to kill multibillion isk freighters for lulz.

For instance if I had a courier contract freighter with a high collateral coming through Uedama, would you be interested in blowing up that specific freighter for say 1200m ISK?

Sounds like a very cool idea. I'm currently in channel but it seems there's only 3 people in channel at the moment. Since I have a whole slew of questions to ask, most of which I'm sure I won't think of up front, this makes it challenging for me to learn more about you guys.
My attempt at a helpful suggestion: Get someone from Pizza to create a web page that reviews the following:
1) the basics of how to gank.
2) your rules on security stuff like coms, channels, etc.
3) A note on how loot works for the public fleets
4) A list of people who are in charge to be contacted in case of issues or additional questions
5) perhaps a cool video or two? random propaganda
6) How often you meet up, when the next fleet is, who will be the FC, what times are standard gank times, where to meet up, etc. (this may not be allowed for security reasons)
7) how to join a fleet and fit your catalyst properly.
8) Special events? (if you feel like having them)
9) A link to donate if necessary (not sure if you make all your isk back in loot or not. This would depend on #3
I'm sure there are plenty of other things which could be included but that's all I can think of for now. For such a new channel, I totally understand not having this up yet since you're still testing the waters. I do think it would be cool for this to evolve some though.

I will look into making something that answers most of the questions posed by you and others in this thread later this evening. That said, some of them are just not worth the effort.
The numbers we are getting are rather high and will soon reach the point of capped fleets where the regulars will get in before the new guys (it's not there yet obviously), so if someone is looking into this as something they would like to do now and again, I would strongly suggest to get joined up sooner than later.
Lastly, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY in my opinion, something (I don't know why) the OP failed to mention.
We are obviously doing this to make money. Yet we are NOT trying to rip people off. Each member of the fleet receives set amount of cash that covers ship costs AND security status tag after the fleet is over.
And on top of that, in case of catching something juicy, everyone gets a piece of that big fat pinata. (which almost always happen) There are ways to even get double payout about which you find out when you join.
That's that in short, will see what's up with other questions later today. |

xXPIZZAXx is doing this for profit, but if you wish to encourage the ganking of freighters, miners and other hisec bears, the best way to make sure your ISK gets put to good use is to buy New Order shares.
