I have a few accounts and I got an email about the password change for one of them so I just took it that only one of my accounts had to be changed as all 3 have the same email addy. Nope still waiting for 1, kinda weird that I got one and not the other.
Anyway congrats to CCP for taking such a firm stance against hackers, CCP have taken a lot of flames for this but to be fair, tons of uo accounts get hacked every day and we just dont have that problem in eve. Fortunately for everyone CCPS damage limitation and quick response to the situation has prevailed. I know its annoying not being able to log into an account but I'd rather that than totally lose it. -First there was nothing then there was Xistance, then it all got kinda Twisted- |

ok I'm starting to panic now, to be safe I used the forgot password thing and it said my username or email was incorrect, so if my email was wrong how do I go about finding out my password -First there was nothing then there was Xistance, then it all got kinda Twisted- |

I'm having exactly the same problem. All my accounts had the same email address but two of them won't let me reset the password and tell me that the Email address or username are not correct when I know for a fact 100% sure that they are.
What should we do? Who can we call?

The emails are apparently very delayed, and I'm guessing CCP have disabled all the affected accounts until the passwords have been changed, to stop further tampering by the hackers. Enkidu Production Manager

That's the problem I CAN'T change my password because when I try to use the "Forgot Password" option it tells me my username and password do not match and therefore prevents me from getting it reset so I can't log in to change it! My email address on my accounts are correct! They have always been correct! They have never been incorrect! How can I get this point through to you? The only reason I am getting this error means that my account was one that got hacked and the hacker changed my email address on my account to prevent me from fixing it!! WHO THE HELL CAN I CALL!?!?!?!?!??!!?

God dude chill. There is a section to the left called 'EVE Support' so I guess clicking a few things over there will eventually get you to this page. Ask a Question
File a question there under the catagory of Billing and Accounts. And don't be surprised that they might be rather swamped today. - - - - - - -

Ok I petitioned ingame.
If you didnt have the right email on your account all you need to do is use teh ask a question bit on the site or as I did email [email protected] statieing the problem, your account login details, your account details (eg post code, address ect)
The last 6 numbers of your credit card if you pay with a credit card subscription type CD KEY when your account was created name the characters you had on the account
basicaly in a nutshell just prove that you are who you say you are, I lost my cd key long, long ago but I pretty much proved who I am so hopefully I shouldnt have a problem. -First there was nothing then there was Xistance, then it all got kinda Twisted- |

The CD Key?????? You know that is so odd. I have always belived in fatalism, but right now I am awe struck by it.
Less than a week ago I was clearing out some junk and came across my old EVE retail box with the disk and manual. I was about to chuck it on the 'throw out' pile but something inside me said 'Nahh, keep it for old times sake.' and it now sits with my other game boxes, complete with the original CD Key I used to create the account in July 2003. - - - - - - -

Sent request after request and nothing! I understand the need to clamp down on these things but I'm sure there must be a less disruptive alternative. Talking about customer service, surely CCP must have realised that some potential problems may occur and that they should do all that is possible to help players recover their passwords. Nada. All I see is ONE stickied post that stretches for tens of pages. For heaven's sake the least you could do is sticky something telling players what to do if indeed they've been left out in the cold. Having to scroll though those bloody pages and on top of that I'm still waiting for my password. This situation is utterly ridiculous and the customer service is laughable.
