Eve is not just a game - its a hobby.
And the OP should chill and read the public statements. Should you by some magical happenstance get trough on email, phone whatever - the answer will surely be exactly the same as in those statements.
And those statements should also indicate to you that they are trying.

While i don't quite share his desperation, i do agree SOME form of contact other than a general news post or forum post would be appreciated. Just knowing someone was working on it would ease so much frustration.
A seperate billing company deals with the finances. A software developing company would be crazy do to it all in house. Standard practice to outsource financial services to another company/bank due to liability (banks and such have insurance and collateral in case of breaches) and increased security. *they* are the ones that hold your subscription billing information.
Identity theft is real and can happen. Chargebacks (what you call it when you report fraudulant use on your card) are investigated, but if the people who frauded you have all your info, have copied your signature, and were never caught, *you* could be facing those charges. Especially if they amount to a significant value.
I highly doubt the people who haven't received their passwords are *all* compromised with security. They said 57 were affected out of thousands and thousands of accounts. Thousands and thousands however had their passwords reset, not hacked. So the chances of you being one of the few affected is doubtful. At least, you would've been informed first over everyone else.

OMG
to the OP you have just demonstrated exactly what " Getting it all out of proportion " means
Your RL identity theft issues and you accounts getting locked down arent even remotely related in severity. You need to get a bit of perspective on the game. If you really meant your original post about contacting a lawyer and cancelling all your credit cards then you probably need to hire a therapist not a lawyer.
I also cannot quite see how any person could lose 30 bill isk and 8 mill SP in 12 hours of lost play time. Nobody learns more than a few thousand SP an hour.
BTW my account was locked down too and I went out had a great time last night came home and this morning I have mail from CCP my account now works again.

for those that are wanting to have some form of contact from CCP about the situation (as in, an email). Email servers can only handle so much traffic. Depending on the size of the problem, it could be taking all this time just to get the first batches of emails out. It could be that they are physically incapable of contacting you because their email servers are completely jammed. Something that will be made all the worse by the number of people that will be emailing them with questions. Patience and an understanding of the potential size of the problem is all that can had now. Its rough, but thats life.

Originally by: Swafa Hey now, I'm just a concerned customer. So back off with the any flames. I read those posts, but after I attempted RL contacts, I didn't get any response.
No you arent.
Your of complete overreaction is ridiculous.
Seriously.
Chill.
Go back and read the news items, the worst that can happen is someone can get onto your character and steal your ISKies. Big deal. If that happens CCP will fix it.

The GM's are very busy, please be more patient and someone will answer your questions and help you with your accounts.
