Celebrating the third birthday of our corporation, the members of Oberon felt is was time to give something back to the community:
Freedom
In association with Prime Orbital Systems, Oberon Incorporated is thrilled to announce the long awaited official opening of the Oberon outpost in 16P-PX to the law-abiding citizens of EVE.
The outpost "Oberon Prime" was the second outpost in EVE, launched 24 hours after the well recognized ASCN outpost as a single corp effort in the beautiful region of Esoteria.
By opening the outpost to the public and offering refining services for the region at a nominal charge lowered to 1% refining tax, Oberon confirms our commitment to the region of Esoteria and its inhabitants.
We welcome the citizens of EVE to celebrate with us, by mining some rocks or ice, having a drink in our entertainment parlours or even by having a go at the infamous Centus Assembly T.P. complex, the hardest 10/10 complex in all EVE.
Always remember: "What happens in Prime, stays in Prime".
Expert refiners in all ore types are available to minimize loss of minerals during the refining process. If you are interested in using these services, please contact 'Priestess Halo' by EVEmail for an appointment.
So, what are you waiting for? See you in 16P-PX - Oberon Prime*.
Oberon Prime is place for (re)creation, not destruction.
*Terms and conditions apply 1. Please be advised that the use of Oberon inc. facilities will be denied to any hostile party, may it be directed at us or our friends/neighbours. 2. Oberon Incorporated and Prime Orbital systems cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to ships, equipment or clones during your journey to or from or stay in 16P. Make sure you are authorised to travel to 16P by our neighbouring alliances, depending on which regions you will need to travel through. 3. For administrative purposes it is required that pilots and corporations wishing to use the facilities contact us by eve-mail prior to departure to 16P. Please contact Lamorta and await confirmation before your travel. This process can be bypassed if your corporation or alliance have good standings with Oberon Incorporated/Prime Orbital Systems. 4. Any persons or corporations pursuing personal wars or vendettas in the area will be stripped of docking rights. 5. We will not permit anchoring of starbase structures in station or outpost systems. 6. Respect our neighbours' borders. 7. Dancing girls are not to be removed from the strip club without prior booking. 8. Any shuttles illegally parked outside docking bays will be impounded or exploded.

I will be processing requests for access to Oberon Prime and its surrounding area on behalf of Oberon Incorporated. For those alliances and corporations already on good standings with us, this step can be bypassed.

While you're there don't forget to visit the beautiful suburb of 16p. BZ-0GW is the first and oldest Esoterian settlement. So swing by for bit of history in between rat and roid parties!

Still they would be forced to fly tru alot of possible hostile territories just to get down there.. But i guess Oberon might be nice enugh to have ships for sale and ready when u get down there to buy for a "nice" price right ;)

lmfao
Im sure SA will be happy to see loads of ships flying through their space or maybe ascn can make their space a "now fly zone" :) because i'm sure they will be happy at you making a open space spot next to their region afterall their goals are to have safe friendly space next door it seems. Im sure this will **** em right of.
Imo this looks just like that southern treaty **** up cyvok made... just rename it "please kick me out of my space"
I see doesnt look you contacted tribal souls did you bother contacting SA, LV , ASCN, FIX about it since their space lies next door? |

Sure. If the Sanshas are giving you a hard time, just send out a distress signal and we will dispatch a security detail as soon as possible.

cyvok doesnt rule the south, as much as he thinks he does, as for asking permissions to other entities, i highly doubt some nublet without any relations to those entitys will dare go there, unless they r in an inty and expendable clone

no cyvok doesnt.. well he might i havent a clue, but there lots of entities to get annoyed at it. Its like having a party without letting your neighbours know.. isnt the best way to make friends. |

Actually the main target audience is the members of the surrounding alliances for the obvious reason that they will have no difficulty in coming to Esoteria should they want to. However, rather than restrict our offer to that target audience only, we wanted to make the offer to the wider EvE community (or at least that section of it that can make the journey without difficulty).
We have not completely lost our senses, those Alliances and corporations that are at war with the Alliances surrounding us will immediately find that there docking rights will have been withdrawn. We will not be the base for an attack into our neighbours.

Esoteria is under guardians of SA , Tribal Soul and ASCN. Oberon has no claim on the region. If enemies from those 3 alliances are seen docked there, Oberon will be kicked out of the space. They've given docking rights to enemies before and alliance(s) don't forget that. Btw not blue is KOS, and you're inviting whole emp ? Watch the pod kills on the map.

I think it's a very nice thing of them to do.
It's people's own problems getting down there and back. Maybe arrange something with alliances around them etc.
But it's still a noble deed.

I for one took them up on this offer and I was met with a very friendly response. Their markets are full of good stuff, tech II, and a couple of skills I needed too. It saved me a lot of time not having to go back to Empire for the skills especially. Also, I couldn't find one thing I needed, and I asked, and was given free of charge the item. It doesn't get much better than that.
On the way back I did run into some SE folks and so it's important to note that there are dangerous, rogue factions running around killing innocent shoppers. Such is life and death in 0.0

Very nice thing the O.I., despite the some past tension between JF and O.I I have always had a great deal of respect for OI. Hal and Halo Jones in particular, oh and Bobby too.
Maybe I will come by and pay a visit....hmmm need to check standings first.

Maud! The offer to join Oi from before you joined Jericho still stands. Come down to visit anytime you like . . . In fact to demostrate just how dedicated we are to good hospitality, I Halseth Durn of Oberon invite yourself and ANY other 2 Jericho Fraction members to stay as my personal guests in Oberon Prime station. 3 of our most luxurious suites will be made available to you along with all of the sport and decadent "resources" Esoteria has to offer.
