Just kinda curious, but since fridays extended downtime there has been serious lag at peak times to the point where the game is unplayable.
Currently this is affecting a couple of my corp mates, and i am curious if there are others out there that are having problems with lag ?

well kindly point me in a direction where i can place my lag reports since the last time i checked it wasnt normal for the following :
Right click on item......... wait 45 seconds, click on View Market details..... wait 10seconds, screen pops up, wait 2minutes to see market data.Thats just the 1 aspect of the game! undocking takes even longer.
Im not whinning or moaning, im just saying that since the extended downtime i have noticed something odd about performance.

Dont think the servers are gonna handle it, if its like this now

Well, tonight seems far worse than anything I've seen in the past 2 weeks - even the 22000 player evening was better than this for me.

That night there was no lag, lag tonight is somewhat insane !
ping is perfect and ISP confirms no connectivity issues....

Isikemi, lag. Too laggy to play so i move to Torrinos.
Lag, too laggy to play so i'm logging off.
After Jan 10th if it's not better I'm taking a long break. Can't play the game like this.

Are ill effects that are caused by lag petitionable?
I was in Jita (unfortunately) looking to buy some T2 laser crystals. I looked on the market and none were visible so I placed a buy order at a higher price than I wanted to pay, but figured that I would buy some when they were available.
I was able to get out of Jita after a bit of a struggle and checked my buy order and it was gone. Puzzled, I looked at my transactions and saw that I DID buy the crystals I wanted. At the same time, I saw that there were already many units for sale on the market IN JITA. Due to the lag, I could not see items for sale in my own system so I bought them at a higher price than I should have.
This isn't too big of a deal and I can absorb the cost, but when lag effects player ISK balances, that is a problem.

Im also in Isikemi, in local there are alot of people having serious lag isses.
Im loggin off now and going to bed, EvE is unplayable tonight

Weird, i never experience any lag except for Oursolaers (or whatever the spelling) during peak hours when there's more than 500 players in it. And even then it's not as bad as you people describe.

Lag and connection loss has been a nightmare for me ever since RMR has been released,and it's only gotten worse since then,especially with the 20k mark getting ever closer and even exceeded..
I've been playing the game for the last 2 1/2 years,and even way back when i first started playing,it was never this bad for me in terms of lag and disconnects,with the average daily session(2~3 hours or so),having no less than 5 disconnects and tons of lag,even in systems when there's no more than 20~30 people in local and lots of times less than that...
I get disconnected when jumping thru gates or docking/undocking for the most part,but the lag is constant..Just now,when trying to log on,i was looking at the login screen for a full 5 mins after typing in my password and connecting,and the server was still validating the account info,so i gave up and closed it...That's how bad it's getting.
Only thing i've been doing these last few weeks are checking skills and trade runs,since the server issues are simply too bad to allow anything else,and it's quite clear to me that it simply can't handle this many people,and i can only hope that the new blade servers will fix the problem once and for all....
The main question here is when will they be deployed,as i think all paying customers should know this ASAP...
