In a nutshell: Doxing

Doxing is a technique of tracing someone or gather information about an individual using sources on the internet. I myself have gotten caught up in a flame war before, not in this game but another one years ago- and someone actually went to the trouble to find out my RL name, occupation and post these details on public forums trying to troll/attack me.

Since then, whenever signing up for anything online I use a bogus name and freshly created fake name email address

EDIT: as for doing something for society, I'm a science journalist. I help inform society about amazing discoveries in a variety of fields, including medicine, astronomy, physics and technology. I have a broad range of hobbies as well, but that's my career. I'm autistic, and I wouldn't really call science journalism a menial job, would you? I'm also receiving welfare, because journalism at my level doesn't pay that much. People prefer reading about celebrities instead of the latest breakthrough in a vaccine for malaria.
