When I started out, I decided I'd make an old char for a change. I had experimented with some other looks, but thought I'd go for the old look. When I finally had the picture ready, I noticed it had a striking resemblance to my actual grandfather. Hence the name...

I came up with my name as my wife and I were creating the looks of my character, she said he looked like he had a gold forehead. I though that was a little too obvious, so I changed it up a bit and got GalF0rgheed. Now, almost as punishment; most people shorten that to Gal...but I'm a guy?
So I named my alt "Large Nostril" and figured if they shortened it to Large, I wouldn't mind...... :¼)

When I was in college in the late 70s, I was a DJ on the campus radio station. I played an eclectic mix of punk, heavy metal, new wave, R&B, and Monty Python records. I named myself Montague P. Zooma and called it The Subversive Introvert Show.
When I tried the Eve free trial, I thought I'd resurrect Monty as a space pilot, but the name Monty Zooma was already taken. So I went with Montague Zooma. I didn't worry about the name similarity 'cause I expected to drop the game after the two weeks were up. Oops.
My apologies to the other Monty Zooma and to anyone who has been confused by the name similarities.

After trying many different names, from TV shows/video games/hijacked from other people (yeah lame), I decided to make my own name. So I started randomly typing names, and I came up with Amaril.

Striving for the clouds, always try to reach higher as where i am now. That was a typo but actualy a perfectly describtion of myself. So i keept it from that day on and i never saw anyone using the same spelling in any game by now. ------------------------------------------------ No im not a FF freak look here if you wonder why that name |

William de Soulis
The Soulis family were associated with Hermitage Castle from the 13th century. Of a long line of mean officials, William Soulis excelled. He became the Lord of Hermitage in 1318.
He was a giant of a man and quickly became loathed by his vassals on whom he inflicted all sorts of humiliating and oppressive acts. He enjoyed power and ruthlessly exploited his position at the expense of anyone who came his way. He took a delight in inflicting pain and misery on his people.
He was indeed an evil man.
Known as the Wizard, he was said to be in league with the devil and indulged in all kinds of black magic and witchcraft....

Edited by: BlackHole Bob on 08/01/2006 04:42:12
How I got my name has been in my BIO since I created my character...and nothing more...for over a year now
i'll post it here...
Defenders of the Gates to Hell
Blackhole Bob got his nickname while flying in the outer rim of EVE. Upon entering an unknown system and being grabbed by the forces of a blackhole and plummeting to certain death, Bob jammed his power core with a cheap Minmatar pocket knife while crying and stating over and over he was going to die.
Although this did not give Bob the needed power to break the Blackhole's gravitational force, it did how ever make his hand bleed badly, which dripped his blood on the power cores wireing and mysteriously gave his ship a temporary power boost that allowed him to escape. Thus his nickname "Blackhole Bob" was given to him since he is the only known living person to escape a Blackhole Grav Burn.
i have never changed my bio since i did it 5 minutes after i rolled this character up....so yeah i put some thought into the name and this character

I've used this name in several games. I'm attached to it, since it's the name of the lead character in a novel I wrote, which also became a (VERY) indie comic.
His middle name's "Ostin"...he's immortal. Spent the first chapter of the book on the floor of the Mississippi River, after being given the "concrete overshoes" treatment in the 20's. He spent the next 70 years drowning, reviving, and then drowning again.
He was NOT a happy camper when he finally got loose.

Quote: Mike Banks From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Mike "Mad Mike" Banks is the co-founder, along with Jeff Mills, of US record label Underground Resistance. Part of the "second generation" of Detroit techno, UR combine militant imagery with pseudo-mysticism and sci-fi overtones as a front to their stripped down productions.
Begun in the early 1990s by Jeff Mills, "Mad" Mike Banks, and Robert "Noise" Hood, UR adapted the flavor and kick of early Detroit Techno to the complex social, political, and economic circumstances which followed on from Reagan-era accelerated inner-city decline, producing uncompromising music geared toward promoting awareness and facilitating political change.
Quote: Sun Ra From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Sun Ra (May 22, 1914ûMay 30, 1993) was an innovative jazz composer, bandleader, piano and synthesizer player, who came to be known as much for his "cosmic philosophy" as for his phenomenal musical compositions and performances.

Ever play Ninja Gaiden for NES?
Remember that guy who pwns Ryu's dad in the opening duel?
His name is bloody Malth. Took that and added 'ros' to legthen it alittle bit.
Zenobia I came up with out of the blue, literally. I was trying to think of a good lastname, and there was a game I liked with the name 'zeno' in it, and 'bia' ended up fitting it well. Overall, came up with the name in late 90, early 91, when i was 8.
Saw Ogre Battle used the name Zenobia, so changed it to Xenobia. Then I saw some other game (Lunar I think) used Xenobia, so I changed it back and said screw it.
At the time I didn't know what Zenophobia ment, so when I first started using the name in RPGs, people always assumed I didn't like others, and I didn't know why. It seems to fit here when dealing with the Gallente Federation though.

Few reasons.
1. Good general in a good book series. I had aspirations of grandeur and having my own fleet. Man was I dumb... 2. I figured it would be fun watching people try to spell and pronounce it. I really wannna hear what people say on TS when they call me primary... Still have yet to get anyone to pronounce it right. 3. Not that I knew about it, but its near the middle of the alphabet so H and higher gets called first, or if its reversed J and lower get called first.

Can't quite beleive anyone was so dim as to complain about "Homo Erectus", and for it to actually be considered obscene by the staff.
what do they teach people in shcool nowadays?

Velsharoon (vel-shah-roon) is a vain, selfish, petty, but very canny deity consumed with vengeance, obsessed with experimenting on living and dead beings, and unconcerned with the fates of lesser creatures. In many ways he continues to act like the mortal he recently was, albeit with far greater power at his disposal than before...

Lanfear's Bane

Lanfear pn.
- Lanfear, which means Daughter of the Night, was born Mierin Eronaile. She is considered to be the most powerful female of the Chosen, as the Forsaken call themselves.
She's a character from The Wheel of Time Series.
Bane n.
- The meaning of bane as an English form of nemesis, the bringer of ruin, dates only from 1577. Now an affliction, curse, evil, ill, plague, scourge or woe, in Old English bana had a more specific and immediate meaning, of "slayer", "murderer."
I liked, from Lord of the Rings, 'Isildur's Bane' - In the riddling rhyme "Seek for the Sword that was Broken" the Ring is referred to cryptically as "Isildur's Bane".
So I made my version.
Lanfear's Bane.
