I just moved into my new home and I found that there are no ratters around, so all the fields are full of rats and finally I decided to learn some combat skills and move down a BC or BS to clear them up...also I aim to be able to do anoms in the future...I am currently located in Angel space...what skills would you suggest = Drones/Hybrid (training drones to T2 so thinking of down that line) or Projectiles (Arty or AC?) to eventually get into a Maelstorm or Machariel. I have got core and shield skills to elite so only need to train the weapon skills. Hoping for some suggestion from you guys!

You can't really kite Angels with a BS (but you should keep moving anyways), well, not with anything not stupidly expensive, so if you want to use artillery you pretty much need a MJD or deep pockets. |

hmmm...will a Projectile Maelstorm do? also Autocannons or Arty's for PvE? (AC's are best for pvp so wondering) |

The Maelstrom is a great PvE ship. Angels tend to fight up close so AC's will probably be the better option if you aren't fitting a MWD or MJD. |

Yeah and the maelstrom's cheap too compared to other BS's...well i am going to skill up for T2's.. |

While the Mach is certainly amazing the OP should probably get used the area and the rats in a cheaper ship before springing for a pirate BS hull. And from the sounds of things, train a bit more as well. |

Precisions are best but drones are a close second.
Explosive drones (warriors/valks/berserkers) are useful in pvp too since they can catch a lot of ships, so might as well train up the minmatar drone skill tree. |
