This is my first video which i have posted on the eve forums. So be nice with the comments  i will accept criticisms just more goods than bad  .
This is a video of the fighting in the north between the Northern residents and BOB. I hope you enjoy.
The film is 10:50 minutes long and is 82MB in size

Well that was a nice battle to make you first movie about thats for sure.
For a first attempt its very good, keep going and you will get you skills up in no time.
And lol at scrambling the dread at the sun, I would have probably **** myself.

I liked the ending with you scrabling the Dread. David vs Goliath
David went down to the creek and got five suitable stones (five, not just one, as any prudent marksman would do when facing a very formidable opponent - although some interpret David's taking five stones in order to be able to fight Goliath's "four brothers" at the same time, the Holy Scriptures plainly state that only Goliath, and his armor bearer, stood upon the field of battle; if Goliath did have four brothers there, they obviously weren't much of anything because all of the Philistines turned and ran away like cowards after David slew Goliath) for his sling. The rest of the story is famous. The thing wich i dont understand is that u ran fraps + had a very good control over your ship. I barely had any control over my ship at all.

Yes i agree with you there i dont know how i managed it. Plus these where the only battles that i attended where i had fraps running at the time. The other battles i simply forgot to fraps.

I am talking about the ingame lag m8. I had allmost 30 sec delay on anything i did in that battle. His ship was responding allmost at once.

Lag in eve is strange and definetly not the same for everyone at a given time and place, but whenever someone says it on the forums ppl think hes a whiner :(

2 different battles and you didn¦t shoot at the called targets.
Watch the chat as fastwind says DONT SHOOT THE DREADS, you read it and then still shoot at Shrike dread...That¦s organization for ya...
Well done with lag handling. I got 30sec delays on mods activation and a 2min lag just to load battle sscenario.

Don't be mad. You guys have lots of noobs too who don't listen to orders are just not very good, like some of the 2 day old RKK's in corp that warp to gates at 15km when there are 20 of us at a gate. WOOT.
Anyways, good video. If I had better control of my lag I'd love to make a few videos. Unfortuatnly I usualy get taken out of the battle because of lag by the time the fight is over =)

lol i knew this would happen you guys because you lost a battle you have to turn it into a spam fest. and m8 i logged on to ppl shouting we need you to fight so i had instant seconds plus the orders on ts where for tacklers to keep the dreads scrambled so i believe i did follow orders and lol check my history i am far from a noob at pvp.My history sais that alone
But for many o you good fight shame some of you have to turn it into a spam fest because you obviously have nothing better to do with your time
Also about the vid u mention quality improvement i agree its not amazing but if that was a BOB movie of the same quality you would be praising it.

I was there and i¦m glad i did even if we didn¦t stand ground in the final.
It was a +2Hours battle and i¦ll never forget a battle of this magnitude.

It refers to the Enermy's Gate as being down so it actually makes it a very good title.

Obviously you still have alot to learn about PvP.

There's a very nice, soft feel during some of the opening shots, the ones with ships circling around gate and the manual camera control... was some post-processing filter used there? ^^;
other than that was just mainly reminded how silly the dreads look when they bounce like that from missile hits... really hoping that gets fixed eventually :<

Regardless what the author of vid meant about the title there were 2 dreads gone poof within this particular vid.
More than likely what TWD said is true. Maybe there were 200 kill mails of their enemies racked up for the time period of the fleet battles. But does it mean much? Depends if you really care about such trivial concepts such as kill mails in the first place. If you do, then you would have to consider Quantity of kill mails vs Quality.
And calculating all that kind of data for fleet battles to me is a waste of a pvper's time.
Meh, personally toting around kill mails means little to me. So long as there was an awesome fleet battle and everyone was able to get a piece of it who cares which side is trying to prove they won or not?

GREAT video hornstar.
superb music - and some serioulsy good views especially with with warchilds dread in teh foreground.
Its a great shame that we missed the dread at thte sun but we couldnt split the forces to deal with it. it was a huge fight fantastic to be part of and as a result i was able to discover what a dry side reach around is!!.
i read with slight amusment the various posts regarding our foe having lag and other such propganda, they seemed to be doing a dam fine job of fighting their dreads and oter ships. our losses were high in numbers but relatively low in cost. i believe we lost 30 std bs to 12 bs kills - something like that - however those bs kills included more than one faction ship. - i believe we lost a simialr amount of support to bob - maybe we lost a bit more but hey the fight wasnt bought to our backyard by us!!. oo and the other ship type to die - well enough said - 2 dreads - thanks for that - and we are particulary grateful for teh loot - x type arm hardners for the win. -
it might be interesting for the general populus to know what happened to start this fight.
basically shrike and his dread mate whose name i forget - appeared 100km off the gate in a show of force to 'make us scared'. - shrike had done this before in a previous act of bravado. - with some superb tactical manouvering and tackling a small gang of some 12 men were able to hold the dreads long emough for support to arrive from vfk. about 30 minutes in things were getting hairy for the IRON gang as they awaited full reinforcement. - but after approximately 5 minutes of concern that things may not go our way out forces started to prevail. our dreads were able to jump out to refuel and rearm and from the moment they re engaged the result was a foregone conclusion.
I pay the DEEPest of respect to the majority of the BOB fleet - they are extremely effective at killing of that there is no doubt.
it saddens me that some of their pilots and inparticular their propoganda machine feels it necessary to smack so much on the forums. - rather than say it was a fair fight - GREAT fun and u did well.
i dunno - maybe i am a simpleton - or maybe its just that shrike doesnt like losing so many officer items and pods to us in just 2 days - o and dreads.
maybe the general populus can draw its own conculsions.............................
Ps - my thoughts and commments are my own,. they are NOT intended to be taken as smack nor as a reflection of any IRON or G management stand point.

mr dino thinks that raid performance has any signifigant effect on a desktop pc, apart from doubling ur chances of loosin ur data if a disk fails. congrats.
its widly documented that raid 0 has minimal effect on a desktop pc enviroment. dont get me wrong if u stuck in some ram drives it would probalby help but atm the drives dont push the upper limit of the interface.
anyhow had a bad day at work due to some jerk coming in and messin up the server :P
ill put my inner geek away now.

im defending the guys vid... just because it your alliance/corp getting blown up doesnt mean it sucks.. It doesnt... videos of 2 Dreads being blown up are rare, that alone makes it a good vid.
id rather see a poorer qualty vid of something interesting (dreads going down), that a beautifull video of average action.
And ill post when i like, where i like, i dont hide on the forums or ingame as u know. i aint afraid of any pixels... take away ma beer and im a beaten man though.

Erm, have to correct you, i once had a Raid 0 array in which one hd then failed and all data gone, lol. Fraps went perfect on it. now i use the other HD only and cant fraps anymore at all w/o having HD crying out loud and all gets slow motion
