What are these things like, can they been done solo, whats in them i hear they are only 2 levels, do they drop anything nice?

impossible to solo, the tank on one of the structures is too hard

They have 5 levels, not two.
You can get to level 3 alone, but the overseer there is not killable solo really. You need at least two (if very skilled), and probably more ships to kill that.
After that, it's easy again and you can go all the way to lvl 5 once you get the hang of it.
The dorps were changed. They no longer drop bhaalgorn bpc's but ashimmu bpc's once in a blue moon (thats cruisers btw, and not too good ones either). The faction loot they drop isn't too bad, altho it's become infrequent as well.
All in all, only worth it if it's close to you really.

Think I have to agree with Rod here,
the crimson sentinal takes some serious pounding. (Wouldn't we like to have a ship that tanks like that)
I currently go with at least 3 bs's and a log cruiser for support. I havent tried using t2 ammon as yet, and another log cruiser may allow another bs' to set for gank so 2 is a posibility.
Only found out about the lack of bs's drops yesterday which is a bummer, but so far we have got nice loot each time we go.
Rod do u know if any complex's drop bs's now? I am thinking the 10/10 in wmh btw?

Yes, bs bpc's now only seem to drop from 7/10, 8/10 and up.
That means no more bhaalgorn drops aside from agent rewards since there are no high level blood complexes.
Vindicators in the serpentis 10/10 complexes yes, but you wont find one that's not already taken. It'll be easier to simply ***** those 6/10's a bit and buy one I assure you
