I think that CCP is laughing at us..and that they don't give a damn...Stop the damn trial accounts...at least till u have hardware that can properly support this many players...
make a special node for trial accounts...so that too many...that node will drop... I'm sick of paying to be a damn beta tester... each patch it's worst and worst... releases are done way before they are actually ready..
This was my favorite game for over a year..now it's become a pain to play..Do like other games..block trial accounts on week-ends..do something..

The player that's experiencing this frustration has no desire to give up their stuff, because they love the game and want to play it. But playing for a game that is for the most part unplayable, and feels like it's been made that way purposefully by it's own devs, makes feel people frustrated to the point of wanting to cancel their account. I imagine that like me, they mostly leave their characters dormant and wait until the company makes the game playable before laying down hard earned cash again.

Go play some other MMORPG for awhile right after an expansion. You'll end up agreeing with me that CCP has less issues than anyone else. Other than that, just live with it, cause its all a part of how all companies release there MMORPG's. And its cause they can't know how much lag there while the expansion is in testing cause there isn't 20k+ people on stressing the new code to see if they need to improve. This is the only way, you gotta live with it. Either that or go get a masters in Computer Sciences and come up with a cost efficient way to impliment an MMORPG expansion flawlessly.

I do play other mmorpg dude...
And in some games i play...trial accounts are limited...like past a certain amount of paying people...trial accounts aren't let in on servers...and i think it would be a minimum resperct thing to do...i can see a big difference in quality of game play between 15k people online and 20k people online... I just don't feel like i should have problem playing because CCP lets too many trial accounts on at same time during rush hour..
and during weekends..

Trial Accounts are needed to get new people in the game and so ensure the longetivity of our precious game ;-)
The only systems that cause extreme lagproblems atm are the Newbie area's like Ours ;-) Just stay away out of those systems and there is no problem at all!
When I am not in those Newbie systems I don't have any lag problems at all!
To answer the expansion discussion: I have played many MMORPG's and with all of them hell brake loose when they launched an expansion ;-) There are always problems after such a major release! always!

The BBB isnt gonna help you all they can do is report when a company does wrong so other consumers can see it. they have no enforcement value whatsoever.
They are useful though. Just ask sony when they screwed over the players with the NGE. Never in all of my 37 years have i seen a company screw its customers so hard. CCP are a far cry from Sony Online entertainment and lucas arts.
Thats not to say CCP dont **** me off but they at least use lube sony uses a jackhammer.
ALL MMO'S screw you at the drive thru...
