Surely this isn't just number of players. It was rubbish earlier with 11k on. Something is going on!
Wild theories:
Brute force log ons by asshats still trying to pillage player accounts.
Hotfix gone bad.
Account manangement activity causing a hit on Tranq.
An acknowledgement from dev's would be nice. Can't stay like this until feburary can it!

We are out of contract, I am trying to Carebear, I lost my ship to a lvl 4 agent mission, to NPC, and through the inability of being able to activate my modules. I just had to sit n watch my beloved Raven go down hard, by the time i could activate, i was in the NPCs optimal (blaster npc) and getting hammered. Then after managing to target something, i couldnt activate my Launchers t fire back.
My beautiful girl went down fighting though.
The feeling of frustration and anger is a strange one during those 3 minutes, this thread was kinda all i could do to vent it, couldnt find the cat ;)

I lost a HAC in mid warp on 2 occasions where the npcs were still able to hit me even tho I had warped away... mehh...no reimbursement.

Now now eddz... the cat didn't do anything 
Hope you get your stuff back m8... sorry I can't logon at all this evening... promised the gf some attention and here I am browsing the forums while supposedly writing a paper for work
