Do you remember this ore?
Spodumain
Spodumain is amongst the most valuable ore types around, as it is one of only three ore types that yields the ultra-rare megacyte. Otherwise very plain, with a bit of tritanium and pyerite. 250 ore units are needed to refine.
It vanished without trace..
Was one of my favs because of the name *sniff*
I really miss it.. been looking all over for it but its gone 
..
Ohh boy.. getting depressed again
I thought.. that maybe, if we pool our recources. We could have a refine event just to salute the death of this glorious ore.
I have 3 units looking for another 247 buddies to make a batch.
I am now turning to the Eve community. Dig hard in your asset list. Lets come together and make 'The last refine of Spodumain'.
The death of this Ore should be a big and loud event. Not the anonymous disapearance it had.

Spodumain cannot die, just when you know it's over I promise, it will magically appear in the 0.0 belts containing bistot!

I think we have around 20 units of spod.
I was thinking about charging a fee for people to look at it.
We also have 157 units of ark...so close to a refine..gah!

I have a feeling that once the problem with "baby roids" is fixed, and possibly the introduction of BS pirates, Ark and Spod might reappear.
Thats my hypothasis

Unfortunately, I have no pics of us mining spod/ark on this comp... (we did in zanka, a 0.1 system, when it was there along with NPC cruisers.)
All I have is this :P

ol Dref has 137 Units at Katugumur and about another 115 units in Podion not to mention a 50 units of ark. Alas for the days of ninja mining in an ibis.

I noticed that the rarest ores were closest to "A" when alphabetized, and the most common were closest to "Z". Spodumain just didn't fit.
